Crawford's the calmest under fire I've seen at this weight since Mayweather, and that doesn't change at 154. Best bet for Spence is to beat a name or two at 154 and retire. All credit to his bravery.

Crawford only needs a couple more at 147 to be the man of his generation there.

Terence Crawford is the Guru of Boxing, the Sweet Science Grandmaster. He's better than Mayweather and is in the class of the Sugars. He can do everything: chose angles, time and counter perfecty, switch well between offense and defence, he's extremely smart and precise. The phenomen of boxing, an overlooked legend of the sport. Such talent deserves way more mainstream recognition.

That was perfection. Inoue was impressive earlier this week, but Crawford is the most complete fighter in the game just now.
1 round to take a look and figure out Spence and then just dismantled him.
I picked Crawford on points as I thought Spence's size and ability to crowd would see him through to the end, with Crawford's accuracy picking points in Spence's more sloppy defence. Crawford just negated any attempts at inside work with his accuracy and subtle movement, but the surprise was the power he generated as well. His accuracy and ability to turn the punches is amazing. The first KD in round 7, he hurt Spence with the uppercut, shipped a left from Spence, but still managed to adapt in time to land another whilst Spence was seemingly on his way down. He's just so damn calm as well. Spence is a class fighter, but just couldn't land.
First time in a long time that i've stayed up for a US based fight, and was worth it just to see Crawford's skills. Brilliant fighter and #1 p4p.

But reports suggest that the loser has the right to invoke the rematch clause at the weight of their choosing so if Spence enforces a rematch at 154 will we ever see Bud at 147 again once he’s moved up

I’m not interested in Bud fighting at 154, I don’t see any interesting fights for him there.

I guess, Tszyu can do it too. Anyway, Crawford will win both.

Jermell kept calling him out there but he’s shifting to 68, so I doubt he comes back to 54.. he’ll probably go 60 after that.

Crawford beats everyone at 154 as well, Cap, but doesn't have to. Boots is highly respected right now and a bigger win for him.

He pretty much refused to trade on the inside, I think was key.

He had a great sense of when Spence was looking to throw angry shots and close shop, knowing he was too far ahead for Spence's preferred technical pace. Bet Leonard was nodding approval.

You know what you’re talking about mate.

Spence was throwing and throwing until the last second but it was useless. He’d fukken bladder any light mid but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him retire.

You don’t have to keep getting heavier, I don’t know why fight fans are obsessed with it threes days.

I think that's generally related to fighters who physically boss opponents, whereas Crawford just outplays them on an equal athletic footing. His brilliant insight'd carry up, but he's a natural welter.

Agree.
Crawford has that magic of being able to KO his rivals like the great Sugar Ray Robinson .. Mayweather couldn't do that.

Truly great performance by Bud.
Just dominated Spence.

Same..

Still in his prime
I'd pick Crawford over any version of Mayweather. Mayweather liked to figure out his opponent. You can't figure out or predict anything with Bud. And Mayweather would not like the switching of stances either.
