That was confirmed for me.

Spence started getting desperate after rd3 cus he came out aggressive.. but made no difference to Bud.

Desperate Spence was not a good sign.

Even more confirmation that Bud was gonna get the stoppage.

A rematch at 154 would have the same outcome.

Would it be closer? I don’t really think it would be.
So I just got off work, and it would appear I won my bet

So Crawford won emphatically?
Yea, if you wanna watch the fight just watch craw vs horn on YouTube and imagine horn is black…

Na honesty I think it was less close than that.
Wow. That bad huh?

Spence' defence hasn't looked so mediocre before facing the Bud.
Maybe it’s just that he went up against one of the best defensive/offensive fighters today.

Spence was eating jabs. Bud said that they worked on a sharper and powerful jab cus the normal jab wouldn’t have made much difference and that game plan was 100% the best thing they probably did in training.
Spence has shown a vulnerability to a good jab in the past. Crawford’s jab tonight was one of the greatest in the history of the sport. It alone was the difference.
Spence really did try with the body shots.. even going a little lower. Got warning for that.

They made no difference.

Crawford's jab and his movement, and his timing, and his precision, and his variability.

True.

But it all was rooted in that jab.

Yes . . . it was. His jab set everything else up. In fact, his jab was nearly flooring Spence. It was not a rapier jab. It was a battering ram.

I agree. Mayweather didn't have that perfect balance of offense and defence. He had to concentrate on a one thing to be perfect, while the Guru Crawford can do f8cken everything.
Floyd rates higher p4p. But Bud beats fmj at welterweight.
I can't see floyd dealing with Bud at 147
It's hard to put Mayweather lower p4p-wise, he was so popular, while Crawford is overlooked. Mayweather has more legends in his list, but also more questions. Crawford has more talent and at least defeated his opposition in its inarguable prime.
I think Bud would've made Floyd fight and not just play defense. Could've been a great fight. Mayweather had underrated power mostly due to his blazing speed, and could've gotten more respect than Spence did. He had zero fear of anything coming his way tonight.

nah craw did a lot that was unrelated to his jab. for example when spence tried mauling him on the inside, his defence was sharp. that's not his jab doing it for him. the 2nd kd was a counter hook in close, that's not his jab. the discipline not to get into prolonged exchanges, another thing not his jab.

the jab was a very important part of a performance in which he put it all together in many different ways

He's a stoner, look at Crawford's reaction to a recent face to face.
It was inevitable Spence would fall.
He looked like a cross between Snoop Dog and Cheech and Chong.

He definitely had it all but the jab is what took away Spence’s timing and blunted his attack.

The only thing that blunted his attack was the blunt.
