Spence struggled with Ugas and went life and death with Porter.

Crawford was a league above and showed that clearly

He thought he was coasting it until he was told in the corner he might be losing.

He switched it up and got the stoppage.

Crawford counter-punched the sh1t out of Spence for an emphatic victory.

This should be a lesson to all those talented fighters with Al Haymon....leave him ! He keeps his fighters idle and ruins careers of excellent boxers who will soon be forgotten after they retire.

Really impressive performance by an elite boxer.

Patient, accurate, powerful. Sometimes boxing rises above the cr*p and reminds us what a great sport it can be.

Spence showed great heart as well when it was clear early on it wasn't going to be his night.

Just wish these top guys would be allowed to initially fight each other when they are younger to set up rematches and trilogies while they are still at the top of their game.

Phenominal fighter, what a joy to see a fighter wanting to fight the best too. Some would say Crawford is a proper fighting man.

SO what next for Bud? Last night was really the pinnacle for his career but he still has plenty left to give.
There's always someone waiting in the wings, up and coming contenders.
The welter division has two young & hungry lions in Boots Ennis and Vergil Ortiz.

No-one else of real significance in the divisions above and below, unless Mell get's a huge win over Canelo!

Bud could beat that next generation, he could also beat Mell for the undisputed at a 3rd division!

He's no "feather duster" fighter.

Spence sounds like he's slurring in the post fight interview

Anyone else think Crawford held back a little bit in the last few rounds knowing he had Spence beaten, but wanting the referee or Spence's corner to stop the fight rather than brutally knocking him out or dishing out a career ending beating?

Yes I felt that. I was screaming at him to not 'play with his food'.

I actually thought that in the build up. But I watched an interview with him from when he first turned pro and, to be fair, he's always had one of those accents that could be mistaken for slurred speech.

This is true.

It’s that southern Texas style accent.

Just sounds like he’s half asleep.

Probably sounded a bit worse after the fight cus he was eating jabs all night.

Elies grievance with Fury started when they wore a Palestinian flag on his training shorts once 13 years ago or something

Crawford obviously a better fighter now than he was then but that wasn't prime Burns either, his decision loss to Crawford didn't age too bad and must add to his case as one of the best British chins of all time

Don't forget the quote either "What were your thoughts in those first few rounds against Burns?" " That this guy is a lot better than I expected"

Burns introduced Crawford to world class boxing and look where he's went

He was always a puncher, once had an argument with a guy who said John Molina Jr hit harder a few years ago, I said no chance, not even close

Buds the best fighter in the world.

Reminded me of that other super fight, when Sanchez smashed Gomez early, and turned a fight for the ages into a miss match ~ with the other man showing tremendous, otherworldly bravery.
as did Errol Spence. I actually think he probably lost his undefeated record to that near death car crash. You don’t come back from that 100%, maybe the weight as well. But Bud would’ve beaten him anyway.
His corner “the teacher” Derrick James can go f**ck himself, Arrogant fool, should’ve saved his badly beaten fighter long before that.

Great cornerwork work from Bo Mac. Absolutely cool head, just like the great Terence Bud Crawford..

And John Rawlings, don’t talk over the ring entrances, bonehead.

I love a good jab me and I can't think off the top of my head a more painful looking one Crawford tatooed Spence with last night, I winced every time, it was worse than the lefts and even the hooks that dropped him
