Iono much about P.S.I. but I know that Marciano was tested by the USA Testing Agency and came back with these results:

"The force of Marciano's knock out blows is equal to the explosive energy of an armor piercing shell; the same amount of energy it would take to lift 1,000 pounds exactly one foot off the ground."

Note- I am using that quote from my mind, so I could have the details wrong.
