This could go either way.

If Quarry fights his best, meaning he's light on his feet, counterpunches well, and is aggressive without getting drawn into needless exchanges, he'd probably win a decision.

Examples of Quarry fighting this well are his wins over Thad Spencer, Mac Foster, and Ron Lyle.

But if Quarry has one of his bad days and this turns into a brawl, then Bonavena likely wins. A wild KO punch could put Jerry down for the count, or Oscar mauls Quarry in the majority of the rounds to take a decision.

Don't forget about Quarry's other best wins are over Floyd Patterson, Buster Mathis and Earnie Shavers. Anyways, either Quarry outboxes Ringo with jabs, body punches and counterpunches to take a decision or vice versa for Ringo by mauling away on Quarry with good body punches, left hooks and right hands to take a decision.
