A women's fight that was brutal and worth watching.
It's Shadisia Green - she just beats people up like a 70s heavyweight.
Huge credit to Steph Curry - great chin and heart. :salut:

Heather Hardy should be pulled out - it's not nice to watch.

The ref and/or corner shoulda pulled Heather Hardy out about 10 times.

Yeah, she went the distance, but her eye and cheekbones may never be the same again.

Not many boxing events have a better atmosphere than this - especially in the US.

Good main event.

A really good, bad fight. :box:
Paul wins @ least 6 rounds and got a KD. Massive upset if he loses that on his own show.

Jake wants Diaz rematch in the cage, or a Fury rematch....

Diaz being a world class boxer because he trained with them was finally a myth put to rest, legendary stamina and effective pressure but he was losing the footwork battle badly and makes so many mistakes.

Logan’s a G!

Opened up the SummerSlam card. Done within 20 mins then fly’s from Detroit to San Antonio..

Arrives 20 mins before Jake’s fight.

Still in his wrestling gear.

It's pretty well-known he has zero defense, and that was on display tonight.

Yep, my comments from when this was announced show how predictable this was.
joshj909 wrote: 12 Apr 2023, 13:40 No surprises there, been obvious for months. Terrible fight. Diaz is a 37 year old, retired former MMA super-welterweight (in boxing classes) who has a Jiu-Jitsu base facing a cruiserweight/LHW. He's sparred boxers for years but he blocks with his face, throws the same 1-2 everytime and has awful footwork. Typical Paul opponent to lube up his ego.

idk who diaz hired as boxing coach but somebody should've told him about a thing in boxing they call a 'jab'.

if he would've fought the exact same way he did but with putting a basic jab or two out there while walking forward he would've won every single round.

it was frustrating to watch him plodding forward head first, letting paul tee off at him unbothered.

i guess that's his style since always and obviously in mma there's other tools he can implement to get away with it.

in boxing if u aren't an unortodox, gifted ring magician it's almost impossible to get shit done without at least a basic jab.

really seems like he has to let himself get punched in the head first AND JUST THEN he's somehow mentally ready to take initiative and starts fighting back, but again without a jab to set shit up!

sounds weird but maybe it's his translation of the code of martial arts regarding self defense into professional fighting, which is absolutely crazy to say the least.

Nick Diaz had better hands

This was a legit good fight I had on DVD back in the day and Diaz had just started training seriously in boxing after Jeremy Jackson who had a pro boxing record knocked him out

Diaz won the trilogy but learned the importance of having effective hands in that first fight
