Amazing that these two never fought.
Looks as though Loughran started camapigning at heavyweight just around the time Rosenbloom started getting to that 15 round stage of his career but still disappointing it didn't happen.

Real tough call but I'll go Maxie on a narrow points decision.

Do it 5 times and I reckon it'd be 2-2-1 though

Both were both evenly matched, but I think Loughran would get the better of Slapsie Maxie behind his better jabs to take a decision.

Guess I would lean towards Loughran as well. Certainly could go the other way. Two of the great light heavyweights.
