Said i was,nt going to watch this, but its 4 oclock in the morning here, and i,m up coughing and spluttering with the dreaded man flu, so put it on i,m not paying so who cares, anyway who,s on , Hattlon and i think no wonder boxings going down the tube, why oh WHY do they scour the boxing world looking for wins for this guy ,, the second he fights somone who don,t read the script he,s gone , Just look at him, throws his jab ,and EVERYTIME he brings it back low, and everytime he drops his right hand ,, then when he throws his right Everytime He drops his left basic basic basic boxing mistakes you drill out of beginers so why the hell have they got him on these sort of shows, they must be casting a wide net to find boxers who cannot exploit these BASIC mistakes , and whats worse his corner are not telling him to stop it

his corner will do their best to keep finding these boxers and keep the ride going. if he can't learn, keep the opposition level low as long as possible

Liddard v Oosterweghel was a cracking 6 rounder

The Dutchman didn't stop trying for the entire 6 rounds but Liddard was far too classy.

It's a shame this fight wasn't topping the bill in a local town hall or leisure centre. It would've sent the local fans home in raptures.

These sort of bouts used to be a common occurrence in small hall boxing shows.

Jesus wept Fisher absolutely flattens Armstrong within 15 seconds of the first but god knows how Armstrong dodger the onslaught afterwards.

Armstrong then came on just a touch in the last 30 or so landing a glancing shot to the head.


I swear the very first jab from Fisher almost had him over.

We’ve seen it many times, it looks as though Fisher’s own punches will take more out of him than anything Armstrong can throw back.

10 rounds… could get interesting if Armstrong truly belies that physique.
