Washington hadn't boxed for over a year and a half and Chisora has long seen better days.

I found it a watchable 10 rounder :TU:
washington throwing nothing, constant clinching, chisora stumbling forward with swings like a drunk.

no kds or any drama

i mean, if you got something good from it, fair play. for me it was the worst chisora ive ever seen winning because the other guy didnt have the stamina or courage to fight back most of the time

Am I alone in thinking AJ should've chanced Hrg instead? I'd have made him the slight favourite, and it would've been great for his confidence had he won. Meaningful.

If he beats Helenius it does nothing for him, and if he loses... Losing to Hrg would've potentially left him the Joyce-Zhang winner at least, but what a springboard towards Wilder following a win.

I would say Hrg wins, but he'd actually have to try for more than 50% of the fight. I reckon Hearn and AJ know that and didn't want any of it.

The crowd is not making any real noise for Joshua. The hype for him is well and truly gone. Some good scraps still left though.

 I thought me saying I didn't mind the Chisora v Washington fight would get 1 or 2 comments LOL

I had low expectations and although Del Boy was blunt and Washington didn't work much I still found it ok....I've seen worse.

For me it's interesting because I think Hrg's open to what AJ used to excel at, so if he won through those means again he'd be back on song. Else if Hrg won I don't think it'd be too brutal.

Moneywise, with Wilder in the wings, we can all see why it didn't happen. So what happens if Helenius finds a lucky shot?! This feels like a low risk for not much. Suppose it keeps him active.
