Wouter,
There's another matter for the correction for certain fighters. This is about former World Featherweight Champion Jose Legra. I wrote earlier that his reach is not 63 (160 cm) inches in this website that his real reach is 73 inches (185 cm) while he was tall for the featherweight at 5'8". I believed that 63 inches in reach was too short for Legra's arms, which would like a T-Rex arms which would make no sense because most of the sources I found that they described Legra had long arms and it's most likely that his reach is 73 inches. Since then nobody changed his reach on this website.
Even I found the passage from the biography of "Eder Jofre: Brazil's First Boxing World Champion" by Christopher J. Smith and it stated on pg. 436 that Legra had a long reach of 73 inches if you ever have and read it. Please if you can find the old tale of the tape on certain newspaper archives to confirm that Legra had a long reach.
Please Wouter, change Jose Legra's reach from 63 inches (160 cm) to 73 inches (185).
Change Jose Legra's reach
Re: Change Jose Legra's reach
The tale of the tape prior to him winning the EBU title in Dec. 1967, lists him as having a reach of 177 cm. I have changed it to that.
Re: Change Jose Legra's reach
Thanks Wouter and I appreciate it. Legra with his long arms of 73 inches is nearly as long his fellow Cuban in "El Feo" Luis Manuel Rodriguez and I still believe Legra's reach is longer than 69 1/2 (177 cm), but at 73 inches (185 cm). However, Legra's 69 1/2 inches (177 cm) in reach is close and reasonable enough unless you find another tale of the tape fight of Legra that his reach is actually 73 inches (185 cm). Thanks anyway.
