ya that;'s another factor to consider, a more aggressive tyson just draws out a more formidable version of mcbride who ko's him even faster

If you are talking about a shot Mike Tyson that retired by McBride, then yes he would, but you were thinking about the prime Mike Tyson that you think McBride would stop him, then you are sadly mistaken. I know it's your opinion, but I can't take your opinion seriously logically because it's laughable to me.

Prime Mike Tyson would take McBride out in earlier rounds from rounds 1 to 4 with his heavy bombs.
You must not have seen other posts of his. He doesn't understand the concept of a boxer's prime. At all. He just completely ignores the stages the fighters career.
prime is important, but the number of medicore '10 round fighters' someone has faced is even more relevant

Don't find excuses for Mike, cause the Big Bad Kevin destroys him every time, every day, twice on Sunday. :box:

I wouldn't take your opinion seriously, but it's your opinion and I will not change your mind.

Mean, but was he good enough to beat the legendary Kevin McBride? margie and Dr. Duke don't think so and they are very knowledgable. Always remember, whether a fighter is near his prime or not doesn't mean anything.

Mcbride stands down any version of the bully. Mike wouldnt be so mean when faced with a man mountain and olympic talent like big kev. the beating would've taken years off mike's career,

rumours are that tyson still has nightmares about his encounter with the colossus, cant say i blame him

This is it. The people who say McBride would have had no chance with a peak Tyson are just trying to save face because they overlooked McBride back in 2005.
Anyway, the facts don't lie. Kevin was a physically imposing beast in the ring and he could dig as well.

Sadly, this isn't a joke. There are people that really do think McBride would have beaten a prime Tyson. We are to that point.

That's really sad how much they underestimate the prime Mike Tyson by ignoring his achievements and history of his bigger opponents that they think this big journeyman would beat a prime Tyson.

I know I for one was not kidding. I think everyone knows I have no sense of humor whatsoever, and I take everything DEADLY serious all the time.

I also think it's as plain as the nose on your face that Kevin McBride is just plain better than Mike Tyson. More coordinated, moves better on his feet, as he showed in his fight with Mike he has a better uppercut, and he's damn sure taller.

If you can't recognize that Kevin McBride is better than Mike ever was, I'll bet you're the kinda guy that also didn't realize how much better a Basketball Player Dikembe Motumbo was than Michael Jordan.

Oh come on. 10 days after your first statement, you start saying that you were joking? Really?
You started seeing people mocking you and are now trying to save face.
You count Jack Johnson's loss to Willard in the 26th round, when he was 37, against him.
You count Cleveland Williams being stopped when he was 38 (and literally after being shot by a gun)
against him.
(This is the part where you go off on an unrelated tangent about something else that we argued about a long time ago. )
Picking Tyson over McBride is not really going much further.

You did keep saying that McBride would win. You said it on August 10, again on 11th, 12, even by August 18th you were saying it! Only when it came to saving face, are you acting like you were joking. If you were joking, you would have said so long before now.
You think that Williams losing with a with a bullet hole when he was 38 and Johnson at 37 is important when rating them. Even now, you aren't backing down on that. Wow.
How about Johnson losing when he was in his late 40s? how important are those fights. Please let us know if you are joking or not.
