I'd have to favor Ruiz here. Both are sloppy, both are nothing to write home about. Ruiz is a wee bit better, and was good at making people fight his fight. That being said "His fight" is a sloppy, hug fest that anyone can win, but since Ruiz is used to those, I'll take him.

Agreed, Ruiz might not have been a fun fighter, but he had good fundamentals.

Ruiz wins by comfortable UD in what probably is a bad fight. Lots of holding, pushing, and wrestling. Ruiz's superior skill puts him on top of the scorecards, but he can't hurt Cobb.
