i did say i was joking my man, a few of us have been direct messaging for days about how easily our gullible grump fell for it

if i really believed it i'd keep saying it - just like i've kept saying the same about slick clev' , jack the giant (speaking of primes, he sure liked beating on teenagers), and these other guys you are droning on about. you disagreeing with me has never discouraged me from holding an opinion, in fact the opposite is true :TU:

obligatory toney is a more decorated cruiser than usyk! 10 round fighter superiority!!

It's funny that people are depicting McBride as a fast-jabbing, speed demon.

I've seen him fight live, very close to the ring. He struck me as a giant, Humpty Dumpty sort of guy. 6'6" tall and a massive 290 lbs, always looking like he's about to tip over. Super slow. Your new car will garner rust quicker than McBride throws a jab.

Allegedly, McBride can hit like hell. We're talking wrecking ball power. Too bad he only lands 1 out of every 100 punches. Big power doesn't help much if it only hits air.

Did McBride live up to his full potential in boxing? I don't know. He was on top of the world after KO'ing ancient Mike Tyson. But then Kevin was barely active for the next year and a half. That's probably why Mike Mollo stopped him so easily. Ring rust. Who knows.

McBride took Mollo lightly and had a lot going on outside the ring when he took that fight. Fair play to Mollo, he did what needed doing. But Kevin wasn’t at his best that night.

It's no use Mags.

Ambling Alp is too smart for us. Of course we HAD to be serious about Kevin McBride beating a Prime Mike Tyson because on the face of it how could you be anything but serious about a question of that magnitude.

It's almost like it was such a stupid question that a lot of us just decided to give wise-ass answers instead of real ones because it would be more amusing.

Not me though.

I know even if you clowns don't that Kevin floated like a Butterfly and Stung like a McB, and I realize a question like this is far too important to joke about.
