I know he was a three time world champion but I really don't think Dennis Andries got the credit he fully deserved, especially since re-inventing himself after such a bad defeat to the great Tommy Hearns. He had two careers,really. The first one the wars with Tom Collins(another one that deserves more credit imo) culminating with the Hearns fight. Then his Kronk career regaining the title against Tony Willis and the incredible wars with Jeff Harding.

I agree, tough man in some very good fights. I don’t think he likes the limelight at all which maybe doesn’t help as he never does interviews so probably not known to a lot of newer fans of the sport, I haven’t seen a photo of him since he retired.

Your right there,Dennis hates the limelight but I just think he deserves recognition for his achievements.

the first harding fight is what got me hooked on the sport as a young lad. cant fukkin' stand it now mind :lol:
