I sometimes wander onto WallStreetBets sub on reddit, and there moderators delete posts where the poster doesn't upload a copy of their trade.

Good luck to all having a bet.
You should just put a fiver on rounds one and two for Dubs at 100-1 and get the same return at no risk lol

However, id rather risk £150 on Usyk points @ 14/5 to win £420. Usyk hasn't stopped any decent heavyweight. It's been what 3 years since he last stopped anyone?

Dubois took plenty off JJ. His face was a total mess but he still got to round 10. He'll be a better fighter for it.

Usyk points is the bet I'll be doing. Losing 4k would have an impact on my life, but £150 wouldn't! However each individual should only bet what you can afford to lose.
I have a feeling the fight will be stopped by either the ref, the doctor or the towel. I can see Usyk finding a home for a lot of his shots early in the fight and the accumulation will be the end of DDD.

I can definitely afford to lose the £4,000, but I won't be at all happy with myself if I do.
then give the £4k to a deserving cause and feel really happy that you have helped those in need .

Gamblers take note - the answers you seek are all in the boxrec polls.

For any given fight, if the percentage of people who think boxer A will win in the boxrec poll is sufficiently higher than the implied probability in prices available on boxer A on the betting exchanges, be confident that you are getting good value.

In this case it’s a no bet. 89% of Boxwreckers pick Usyk to win and the implied probability of Usyk winning according to the 1.12 price on the exchanges is 89% so there’s no value to be had.

Dubois around the 10lb lighter than normal. Assuming It doesn’t affect his power, and increases his speed a touch, that can only benefit him.

DDD was looking more trim in the workout videos I had seen and that has shown on the scales , back to the weight he turned pro at. Agree that SHOULD be beneficial versus Usyk, more mobility and easier to keep work rate up when 3-4kg lighter

Usyk bang on his Joshua weights give or take a few ounces, so you know he is good to go!

I would have thought that Dubois would want to be heavier and try and wear Uysk out.

However, having seen Dev's tweet about there being no rematch clause, I think the gameplan is be lighter than normal to be able to touch Uysk and try and cut him and win the titles by stealth, hence Dubois saying he will win by any means necessary.

Just remember you said this after the fight and don’t go with the stupid Joyce v Zhang excuses that people went with that it was a daft idea to come in 10lbs lighter than usual.

well he was gassing after a few chaotic rounds vs lerena so perhaps thinks less bulk is better.

That would work if it was actually true, but unfortunately BoxRec posters don't accurately pick the winners of fights and the stats you mention don't mean a great deal.

I suppose we're all thinking easy night for Usyk , but he did get caught quite often against old Del boy and Bellew too and didn't look great on his heavyweight debut either, mind you DDD didn't look great against JJ or his last fight .
Yes still easy night for Usyk.

DDD just got floored three times in the first round by a South African cruiserweight.

The first knockdown was a punch direct to the frontal lobe, He got hit with it and went down. He got up and showed no indications of injury to the legs or feet and then none again in the second round. If he had ankle damage it would likely get worse as the fight went on, not better.

It was a knee injury. Freak occurrence. He showed plenty of signs of injury. What are you talking about?

I’m not sure I get the DDD weight loss. Guess it gives him some chance of a slightly later KO victory. But DDDs reall chance is the first 3 rounds rumbling. I’d rather see him 242 and throwing bombs early, because after a few rounds I expect usyk to just be pinging his Mellon at will.

dubois will only have success if he lands anything solid which is so unlikely - maybe he gets lucky somehow but I just dont see it vs Usyk given the movement and footwork he has .
We know Usyk wont go looking for a KO so this could well be another 12 round shut out .

DDD has the power and presuming he doesn't overthink his way out of opportunities to use that advantage, like AJ, he could blast out the Ukrainian. Its his only chance. Has to go straight for a shootout and keep firing even as Usyk is wheeling away and slipping the majority

Shane McGuigan said Dubois needs to use the Nike Tyson approach.

Has he got it in him?
