I think he is 22ish? so having a 17 year old opponent on a big card like this is pretty disgusting. especialy when you consider that 17 year old got knocked out in a round april. Cant be allowing 17 year olds to get pickled for a few hundred bucks.

Is the main event about to start? I'm at a gig and can rush to a pub when it is. Cheers!

Many of boxing's best started pro careers while still in their teens. Joe Bugner, an ATG as British Commonwealth heavyweight champ, turned pro at 17 y.o.gregregegg wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023, 16:48I think he is 22ish? so having a 17 year old opponent on a big card like this is pretty disgusting. especialy when you consider that 17 year old got knocked out in a round april. I'll probably get slated for answering that, as if I'm showing off.unknownman79 wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023, 16:46Did you put the 4 grand on?
Yes sir, I get £4,520 back in a couple of hours. I only make a bet when I'm convinced it's going to be a winner. It's my first bet this year and will probably be my last.

State of the mismatch here.
Looks like they have pulled his opponent out of the school dinner line.

Different being a 17 year old prospect vs a 17 year old furture journyman.Joson wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023, 16:56Many of boxing's best started pro careers while still in their teens. Absolute farce and the closest to a dive I’ve ever seen. Embarrassing for everyone

You've got a point there, I've got to admit. I wasn't even thinking of 17 y.o.'s starting careers as human punching bags.gregregegg wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023, 17:01Different being a 17 year old prospect vs a 17 year old furture journyman.Joson wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023, 16:56Many of boxing's best started pro careers while still in their teens. Disgrace. Makes Jake Paul look legitimate. Kid didn't even have a cup on?

That's one of the worst fights I have ever seen. At any level
