Did he take the fight at short notice? :brick:

I think Eubank has forgotten that GGG vacated all his belts

Well that was exactly how I thought the first fight would go down.

Smith, a pressure fighter who marches forward with a high guard and grinds guys down was up against a fighter in Eubank who has a decent sharp jab, great stamina, high punch output and loves to throw uppercuts up the middle and looping hooks round the guard. On top of that he’s the naturally bigger man. He should have been kryptonite for Smith

Instead he decide to do a bad Roy Jones impression in the first fight or good late Jones impression, depending how you look at it. Tonight, played to his strengths and took every round. Like his trainer said, and it might be cliched, but tonight Eubank was being himself, playing to his natural strengths. He won easily this time, like he should have before.

Let’s not forget that in the build up to the last fight, Eubank had recently crashed the weight for Benn and (perhaps more importantly) had just lost his brother.

Yeah, no stupid showboating and by the sounds of it took training and weight more serious. One thing he has is a strong mindset

Dominant performance from Eubank jnr. Smith looked poor to be fair, but was well beaten.

I feel like people have forgotten Eubank was well ahead when he got caught last time. It wasn't incredible boxing, it was a good shot and that was all it was

Eubank is bigger, faster, stronger, younger and has generaly not being chinny. I dont think this result is that shocking if you take the "AJ vs Ruiz" aproach and just put it down to one lucky brain scrambler (not to say it was just luck but it was a fight changing punch).

If Eddie got stick for his PPVs then Shalom deserves to be demolished.

I didn't see it coming, I like Eubank though, he's good for boxing and I'm certainly not disappointed he won

Fairplay to Chris, people were too quick to write him off after the first fight and with hindsight we didn’t take enough account of the effect boiling down to 157 for the Benn fight had on him.

He looked bigger and stronger than Liam tonight like a big MW fighting a blown up LMW and he did pretty much as he pleased with him.

Disappointing therefore to see him calling out Brook post fight when as the above tweet from Dev highlights there are some fascinating trade fights against Bentley and Sheeraz to be made.

All roads clearly lead to the Benn showdown

on that form chris, sheeraz can punch but looks like a bit of a stiff uprighter to me . and his team obviously wasnt as confident in him as dev is going on about now. if he's world #1 he should've swept up that world title on a big espn show in the states
