They don’t need to. It’s not being fought under their rules.

This isn’t a fight.
But it's on a BBBoC show?

Is it? Maybe they are looking after the undercard, but the Fury freak show isn’t a professional fight and won’t appear on his record. Even FW has admitted that.

Anyone else think Adeleye comes off like an absolute helmet in that interview?

me too, he has consistently come across like this. Including when Soko beat him and he did not have the basic decency to acknowledge Soko.

I'm hoping Wardley wins.

Adeleye comes across really thick and stupid.
And uninteresting

I'm sticking with my assertion that Wardley is the best of the current new crop.

I’m not sure Adeleye’s good enough to be the man to do it but Wardley’s not going far.

He gets hit way too much. Gorman was hitting him at will & cut him.

He can only get by on his chin & stamina for so long. We saw it with Joyce & his eye at a much higher level. You can’t walk through every opponent & Wardley won’t.

I’d expect Clarke to beat him on points or even stop him late on through facial damage or the corner having seen enough

Adeleye was so roided and raged out during the melee he didn't see Wardley getting knocked down by one of his cowardly mates

Anyone know how bad the cut on wardly chin is? Fair bit of blood from it when it happened, saw on his socials he covered his chin with a like heart, I wonder if it was stitches, I’d guess it was and surely that fucks this camp/fight.

Interesting fight this and especially with Fabio stepping away from Eddie.

Saw a recent video interview from Eddie where he said he'd had no dialogue with Fabio's manager, Dillian Whyte and suggested he was surprised as most about the fight announcement.

I'm guessing Fabio is getting a very decent pay day for this.

Looking forward to this fight. Adeleye is mean and in shape. A bit of needle is good too.

Bet he regrets no curtsy call now, you would like to have options at this point... who knows what his contract for this fight is, but i wonder what happens if he has to pull out. Decent cut right on his chin, shit for sparing, 7 weeks out.... unless its ungodly money pulling out would have to be explored (if the cuts decent).

Alos, a Team dillion whyte fighter quickly ditching Eddie to a less drug tested platform has its own little narative too i guess.... but it was probably just to secure this fight.

Apparently the biggest issue may be his hand. A couple of people have been saying he has a potential break. Not sure how. Perhaps when he hit the floor or something.

I don’t know exactly what the rules are but Fabio may not be able to talk directly to Eddie. Seems stupid but it may HAVE to be done either with the manager being ok with it or with the manager being present.

Most Whyte fighters aren’t locked in to promoters. Like Whyte has been throughout his career. Just have one fight deals and I think this is similar. That’s fine if you’re winning but as soon as you have one loss it’s tough (no sign of Babic since getting blown away in his last fight). It also means promoters are less likely to throw everything at them. For me it only really works if that boxer is a superstar fighter, like a Canelo and doesn’t need to be ‘built’ anymore.

Judging by his socials, Wardley has been given the all clear to fight next month which is great news.

Really looking forward to this one now- it should be a war

really looking forward to this, if Adeleye comes out all guns blazing I see Fabio fighting fire with fire and breaking him. Adeleye is untested, but I'm calling bluster on him. Wardley far more likeable too.

Love this fight but I think both are dramatically overrated (if you rate them)

Adeley was a decent mover that got too big and got outboxed by soko, and wardly is poundshop wilder and was eating leather vs Gorman early.

I think wardlys power will be the difference though and he will ultimately batter Adeley within 4 or 5 rounds.

Now my negative review must come with an astrix because let’s face it there not that bad given the state of heavyweight boxing currently…

Is the Commonwealth title vacant at the moment? The Commonwealth council would likely sanction it as they’ve sanctioned fights outside of commonwealth countries before.
