According to the podcast @BoxingTownQC, Arslanbek Makhmudov will face Croatian southpaw Agron Smakici. Also, the fight between Joseph Parker and Simon Kean is reportedly signed. Both bouts will take place on October 28 on the Fury-Nganou undercard.

If Wardley-Adeleye isn't called off, then a card of:
Fury-Ngannou (farce)
Wardley-Adeleye (banger of a fight, if you're not from the UK probably just enjoy the scrap)
Parker-Kean (will show Kean's level after the Wallin fight fell through, personally really like this fight)
Makh-Smakici (not fantastic but a showcase fight for Makh)

As a 4-fight card that's pretty good.

Don’t quite get the mak v smak fight, surely that’s a round 1 KO, kabayal can’t punch and did him inside 3 rounds.

I agree.

Parker-Kean and Adeleye-Wardley are good matchups, but Smakici has no chin and Makhmudov (despite his other limitations) is a huge puncher.

Makhmudov fought a better opponent in Jonathan Rice four years ago, could they not have found someone decent for him now? Bakole, Sanchez, Miller, Franklin or Kabayel would be better.

i guess parker-kean might have an outside chance of being good, as kean despite glass chinned can hit. but mak-smak looks another mak-akiporji or whatever his name was

Looking at the rankings and thinking about the guys that are couple fights away…

it’s Amazing how these “prospects” are needing a “takem style” test. And that’s a 42 year old Takem….

Parker fought prime Takem when he was 24, need more of that attitude in the young heavyweights these days.
