Denzel Bentley v Nathan Heaney

Post by Manchester Hitman »

Both have said in interviews/social posts recently that they are fighting soon and I think Heaney has mentioned it was a big one for him..

It wouldn’t surprise me if this one is next as it should be easy enough for BrickTop to sort out. It would ram that Telford arena or maybe Heaney and his Stoke nutters travel down to the big smoke.

What are we saying guys - good fight?

The latest board circular had Bentley fighting Sheeraz.

I don’t think Heaney would be ready for a step up like this and, given the tickets he sells, I can’t see it.

From the comments I’ve seen, I take it that Warren doesn’t seem keen on doing the Sheeraz fight at this point. The fighters are also saying the right things, but are not exactly beating his door down to get it on either.

Yeah, I wound expect Bentley to handle Heaney and it maybe abit early for Nathan, but he’s 34 - he may need to role the dice. It’s not like Denzel is this dominant Champion anyway- he has been stopped & also buzzed in a few other fights.

Frank can still milk Heaney for a few more quid before putting him in a fight where he's likely to lose, which he surely would against Bentley. Maybe keep the train rolling for a summer show at the Stoke stadium, then wind him down after that, at his age.

I would imagine that the goal for Nathan would be Etinosa Oliha for the IBO

I reckon Warren is hoping tyler denny wins the European title then tries to make denny v Heaney. Local rivals and wouldn't cost alot to put on either. Wolves civic or Telford. Co promotion with local promoters bcb boxing supplying most of the undercard.

Denny will be in a deal with Boxxer though I’d imagine.

I don't think he has a deal currently. May change if he wins European title. Will ask him when I see him.

I’m expecting them to announce Heaney vs James Hennegan in Liverpool. Just me putting two and two together to come to that conclusion.

I’ve seen a few places mention Nick Ball in with a big name to headline in Liverpool. That would make sense if it was Heaney v Hennegan maybe chief support as they would sell a lot of tickets between them.

I think Bricktop has basically confirmed that it is Bentley v Heaney in Manchester. Should be a fun atmosphere assuming Heaney sells a lot of tickets.

I have enjoyed Nathan’s recent fights and Bentley is great entertainment.

Bentley by mid rounds KO is my early prediction.

What makes you think that? I saw Frank’s interview with Umar yesterday and other than locations he didn’t give much away.

He was asked about the fight by one of the smaller platforms last week and basically confirmed it. I will see if I can find the clip. I also saw Warren mention Heaney to Denzel/Dev during the YouTube section of the fights
