:TU: Can you post a picture of Pat Butcher in a baseball hat?
w@nking material!
You disgust me. Anyway, do you think Doofus/Fury looks like Butcher?

@Teddy, you're in luck. Found this one with a 'Pam St Clement baseball cap' google.

:OhYes: How about a side by side comparison? A proper Pat Butcher John Fury face off?

Here's hoping, although yesterday he was dismissive as usual, managed to contradict himself within 2 paragraphs.

"It is what it is. I understand everyone wants the most money possible – I do. This is prize fighting, we all want the biggest bag, and no matter what people say 'it's about the belts, it's about my record, my legacy'. No. It's all about getting paid and getting l***. And that's it.”

Tyson said he had little interest in fighting Anthony Joshua now, adding: "AJ's been beat now. I was interested when he was a virgin. It was a test. We want big fights, this that and the other, but 'who are you? You don't have any belts anymore. You don't have anything to give'."

A-MA-ZING!

Well, huge amounts of egg on my face for doubting Fury's willingness to face Uysk.

Great for Fury's legacy
Great for Uysk's legacy
Great for the legacy of all the promotional companies involved.
Great for boxing.

Epic.

May the best man win 🥊

Pah. I will not believe this fight is happening until the bell goes to start round 1. All smoke and mirrors until then.

They just signed it to boost interest in the upcoming novelty sparring exhibition at the end of October.
It’ll be called off in Nov with everyone blaming the other side.

I’m onboard with this sentiment too. Cue poor old Usyk being given the runaround again.

Didn`t Fury promise the same in the final build up to Chisora last year?

Fury doing what Fury does; using a credible opponents name to get publicity/attention before he fights a non-credible opponent.

Is this Fury admitting he ducked Joshua? Fair play

As for him and Usyk here's hoping but I'll suspend my excitement until it's official

and so,

It begins.

Hopefully not another thread. Keep this one going it’s run on sweet Frankie Adams for 140+ pages.

Some of it it comedy gold.

If, and when, it all goes to SH1T and, the blame game goes into overdrive. I’ll laugh. Most of us will laugh.
