Cheers for that! I predict Ngannou will have a boxing career of an identical length.
Fury vs Ngannou
Re: Fury vs Ngannou
This is going to be farcical, Ngannou is like a heavy bag in there.
He makes Joe Joyce look like Larry Holmes.

Re: Fury vs Ngannou
do u think mike is actually training the mma guy or is it all promo?
Re: Fury vs Ngannou
It’s come to something when I have to agree with John Fury.
That’s how desperate this farce is going to be.![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

Re: Fury vs Ngannou
Most definitely just promotional and part of the show.
I don't think even the biggest Fury fan-bois believe it's anything other than a show/exhibition.
We have seen Fury in WWF and he wasn't too good an actor then was he .. expect even more cringe in this nonsense.
What's left of Fury's fan base is entirely made up of the hard of thinking .. he may even start losing those after this rubbish.
Re: Fury vs Ngannou
I’m no fan of this “event” but Ngannou is definitely capable of producing more speed than what’s on display in those clips.

Re: Fury vs Ngannou
Fury still not interested in a fight with Uysk.
Why didn't Fury have a trainer in camp for the April camp?
Why didn't he fight in April at Wembley without Uysk, as he promised to do?
Wouldn't he earn more for an undisputed fight than against Ngannou?

Re: Fury vs Ngannou
Francis looks awful on the pads, you know Fury just gonna to carry him for 8-9 rounds and go for the stoppage. shades of Mayweather - Mcgregor
Re: Fury vs Ngannou
Maybe, but every clip everywhere he's slower than a sloth , surely the people in the know would chuck out some more inspiring footage of him to drum up sales .
He looks awful .

Exhibitions boxing fights are pretty much always fixed or gentlemen agreement beforehand. i would take it more seriously if it was an actual pro fight.

But not without expending enough energy to see him blowing after two. When this was announced we expected an agreed spar, but from what we've seen of Ngannou it feels as risk-free for Fury as it gets.
He lost in standup to Derrick Lewis, who'd be an underdog against Chisora.

Ruiz priced himself out.
Reports are that his purse is higher than it would have been to fight at Wembley in April and he hasn’t had an offer from Usyk.

All about da money with no risk now for greedy belly.
Just a year ago he was going on about legacy and equalling Ali's record of winning The Ring belt 3 times....now just a novelty fighter, more into reality TV shows than fighting, with a dwindling fan base.

Anthony Yarde didn't have a fight signed until a few days before his last fight. Did he not have a trainer in camp?BigDoofus wrote: ↑29 Sep 2023, 03:08He didn’t have a fight signed.big lennox wrote: ↑28 Sep 2023, 12:39

*£26ppv to watch Uysk take on one of the biggest punchers in the division ( Dubois); or
*Fury in a move around against an ancient novice, for the same price?

Whereas Fury always has a liar in the camp!

Re: Fury vs Ngannou
So Yarde had a trainer in camp, but Fury didn't? Are you sure your boy's wasn't lying? Word round the campfire is Fury failed another drug test.
