99-91 Zurdo x3.

Tough on JSJ, 'cos he fought so hard, but fair enough too - he didn't win many rounds

Had Ramirez winning 97-93, physically he looked a mess, no definition, beer gut but he dominated Smith Jr in the early goings, fought on the back foot but kept it simple using the left hand to counter Smith Jr who pressed but without much success, Ramirez clearly a level above, unsurprisingly Ramirez faded a bit and Smith Jr began to land some shots and nick a few close rounds on my card, as I say Ramirez with the quality, thought his defense was very good and when he threw he landed , still never a cruiserweight though, just a lazy light heavy

Ramirez packed a bit more of a punch.
Smith couldn't take control of the fight.
They both looked a bit slow and open if you ask me.

7-3ish, 6-4 at the most, seems about right. objectively one cant give smith any more rounds.

smith's handspeed or lack thereof, will make it hard for him to take control of the fight against any top guys.

if he doesn't manage to hurt his man, make him think twice & hesitant, naturally his handspeed paired with the plodding frontal approach is a problem versus anyone.

u can see him try anything he possibly can in there but he just won't get any faster at his age, that's for sure.

it's not a bodybuilding contest. zurdo looked okay to me for the first fight at the new weight.

but sure, if he wants to compete with the full fledged big cruiserweights, naturallly he will have to keep working on his shape.

I know body definition isn't an indicator on how good a boxer you are but it is an indication that you could train harder
