I mean sh*t happens. To be honest with ya, it kinda looks like she was coming into the ring on an already bad leg. She has a knee brace on and sh*t.

It's quite possible that she really had no business being in the ring in the first place, and that initial jab which caused her leg to buckle made it obvious to her she shouldn't be doing this.

She got in the ring, and got the check. Which was I'm sure the only real goal.

Nah just rubbish womens boxing with the opponent out of shape and unfit. Susceptibility to injury. Nothing to be gained from fixing an unknown women fight - unless available on betting?

Clearly not a fix - just an injured fighter who somehow has managed to pass the doctor's examination. Reminiscent of Nicky Cook v Ricky Burns. Impossible for the pre-fight doctor's check to spot everything - real issue is that if the fighter knew she was incapable of fighting, her purse should be withheld. But then you get into an odd area in the rules - purse can be withheld on the night if the fighter is DQ'd, but not if they are stopped. So it would have to be a fine. And that would only be relevant if she is either a British licence holder (which I don't believe she is) or, if not, if she came back for a fight over here so the Board could enforce the fine against a future purse (which in turn would likely make her less inclined to come back here). Given her record and now this injury, better answer might be for her to retire.
