Re: Fight missing from record

I just recently fought twice, September 23rd & October 7th in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, but I am an independent fighter, no manager or promoter. So I also have two fights now missing on record. But I don't even have a BoxRec profile. Some of these fights are untelevised, so no idea how to get proof other than a promoter. Seem harder for fights to be given proof or be verified from 1950s, 60 and 70s.

You need to contact the commission in charge of the events :TU:

A lot of events currently in Mexico are unsanctioned. BoxRec & commissions don't like recognizing/acknowledging unsanctioned events, even though a lot of boxers on BoxRec have unsanctioned fights counting towards the official record. How do the unsanctioned events on BoxRec get recorded if no commission is involved? :brick:

Well if it's unsanctioned it will not get recognised :maybe: We can't work in the dark, we work in partnership with honest and dependable commissions. If someone claims to be a commission and that they are working with us you can always email [email protected] to verify the situation in advance.

It does get recognized! Lol, BoxRec records unsanctioned events on official records (as I previously stated). It just gets a yellow flagged "!" Unsanctioned next to the fight & event. Which throws me a curve.
