What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
In this disheartened state with the war and being flat out robbed against Haney a moderately easy win against Kambosos as soon as possible would be perfect and then somewhere between April and June a match against Stevenson for some of the belts Haney has vacated by then.
Loma did defeat the much bigger and amazingly talented Haney so I do believe he still has what it takes to beat Stevenson, but at this point of his life he will need a career best performance.

kambo would be a good fight for him, i agree
but ffs, i lost some respect for him as a fighter after he battered haney in the 11th, then did f@ck all in the 12th because he thought he'd already won. absolute awwful mindset. he couldve got a draw if he won the 12th

Kamboses, and then drop back down to 130, and have A Very Interesting/And obviously High-Selling bout made versus "Inoue".
That's what I'd be aiming towards if I were managing Lomachenko.
There has been talks about Loma taking on Tank, and even Inoue taking on Tank.
No !!! To either.
Loma would get battered. And probably Badly Damaged. Inoue would get Wrecked, and Probably Ruined.
But, "Loma - Inoue" would make for a Beautiful Styles based Bout.
It would go the distance and also provide Alot of Action and Entertainment for Boxing Fans.
It would be Extremely Close, so probably a rematch would follow in half a years time.

Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
- Only beef Tank has is endless mugshot competition with his promoter.
Why would Loma stoop to fighting the corrupt TUE promotional fraud? He's been robbed too many times to fall into that trap. At age 36 when the next fight is likely to occur, IF he don't retire, his best bet would be the infinitely beatable Teofimo and his fat daddy. They hold the WBO jrwelt title that would add another weight class to Loma's record.
Kambo was mentioned, so that would be a big international lucrative defense of his title as his cash out. Then if any Utubers want him, easy $$$ for the Ukrainian War Vet.

for me, a fight where his brilliance is rewarded instead of being robbed by judges.

Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
haney fight was razor close, loma should be slapped for coasting the final round
based on last fight, he still has plenty of quality. so i think no need to retire yet if he wants to fight on. he shouldve fought kambo back when kambo was hot. still that is prob a decent fight for him and easy to make. would be totally stoked to see him fight zepeda too, though cross promoter issues
shak would slap him around

The rounds were close but there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that Loma didn't win the majority of them. Yes he should've been the one who fought Kambosos but Russia started a f*cking war.
I wouldn't want to see him against Zepeda, he would only make him look bad and I don't want that for the future star. The Shak question is interesting, I really haven't followed his career enough to paint the complete image of him, but I know my Loma and to me he is still unbeatable. The only real defeat was against Teo and I do believe that would have been a 12-0 fight without the injury.
Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
Mathematically, sure, but barring a KD of the much bigger man, here's how that one goes:margaret thatcher wrote: ↑16 Oct 2023, 12:18 kambo would be a good fight for him, i agree

Morretti scores Rd12 for Loma: Haney 115-113 Loma
Sutherland scores Rd12 for Loma: Haney 114-114 Loma
Cheatham scores Rd12 for Haney (and never has to explain himself): Haney 115-114 Loma
SD win for Haney
When the fix is in, the fix is in.

Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
I thought Loma edged Haney, Worst Loma did in that fight for me was a draw.
Yet Haney is young with many fights to make money on him so it makes sense the hidden subconscious system of the sport would want Haney to win.
Loma should either go down to 130 maybe fight the guy called the monster from Japan in some type of catch weight.
But really Loma is like 35 years old better to retire before he gets hurt and they start passing him around like yesterday's starlite.
I do think that Loma beats Stevenson, who I don't think has that much power and hasn't beat anyone that has impressed me yet.

You may be right and you may be wrong, but shaks opposition so far looks lackluster and his amount of KO's not very high.
He is fast and skilled for sure..

shak's not a puncher, but neither were floyd, sweet pea, hopkins, or loma himself. when your boxing skills are that good you dont need to be a banger

How about shak's level of opposition has he been in fight where he is not a heavy favorite yet? or already pretty much determined that he would win?

Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
Lomachenko was robbed against Haney, so it's insane to suggest that he shouldn't be fighting Stevenson or doesn't have a chance of beating him (unofficially, at least).

shak is better than haney
Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
Tank v Lomachenko.
Loma will come in light and older.
He has the boxing skills to tame Tank no question, but the physicals if it gets heavy, I don't know.

Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
Right now I'm not so sure.
As long as Devin stays level the only thing that will beat Haney is Haney.
His boxing ability is way above his 24 years.
As long as he maintains his fitness mentally and physically and puts the right people around him in those times of need, I'd put him in with just about anyone.

Re: What do you want to see next for Lomachenko?
shak is sharper than haney and gets hit less. he would've cake walked a guy like linares at that stage. jo jo diaz shook dev up too, these guys wouldnt lay a glove on shak
