Expect Catterall to look a million dollars early, drop and hurt Linares before coasting to a boring UD

Sunnys commentary so intelligent ref how each are using their lead feet. Idris on Sky keeps saying random words.

He''ll have to hope Inoue has moved up.
Inoue @ The Echo for all the marbles Dec 1st 2025...
That would be a dream career trajectory for Pete IF he can get there - he'll be hoping The Monster is still around !
I like Peter a lot, but he would get chopped down by The Monster.
Obviously, but better that than a vacant belt against an unknown import.

I have zero complaints about this one.

I don't think anyone has been too interested in this fight which was why the undercard was decent

So boring. Southpaws should be docked 3 points before each fight so they make an effort for a ko.

119-109 Catterall, it was a very polished and disciplined performance, kept Linares on a leash, didn't really jab with the right hand, just paws and feinted to keep Linares occupied before drilling him with the straight left to the head and body, Linares was a bit dangerous with his right,.landed it a few times but Catterall mostly kept his glove tucked up well, he hurt Linares on the 5th with a left but like all the other times he seemed to hurt Linares it was always too late in the round to get him out of there

Still can't help but feeling Catterall lacks devil, he's a quality operator but needs to turn the screw

Can't say I was impressed with Caterrall, I've certainly seen him do better than this.
At one point I asked myself does he know how to throw more than one punch at a time, he rarely if ever took the fight to Linares and seemed content to stay on the outside flicking out his jab and pot shotting.
Linares looked the part but other than the odd right hand here and there he offered little resistance in return, his gas tank was good but probably because he wasn't being pressured throughout the contest.
Yeah Catterall won, but it didn't look good and the fight overall was bleak, which surprised me because he's looking for bigger bouts and this performance did him few favours in getting any attention.
Hopefully he does better next time out.

Peter McGrail performed quite well, Fran Mendoza gave him a good run and wasn't a pushover at all.
McGrail has some solid boxing skills and it should be interesting to see how he develops from here.
Decent bout and a good test for McGrail, honorable mention to Mendoza he fought a sound fight.

Yeah. TBH I sussed out the boring bugger even before that fight.

A shame because in his first dozen fights it looked like he could be an exciting talent. The talent is there for sure, but little excitement due to his overly cautious approach.
