Makes me laugh when people mention wealth as a mark of a person's character. I couldnt give a shite how much dough someone has if they're a tossbag.
Well for the person on the outside, when a discussion has been started over a sportsman, essentially something to criticise him, maybe neither would care too much about the others opinion, but the keyboard warrior falls into insignificance compared to the hugely successful fella.

And the hugely successful fella isn't starting internet threads against the keyboard warriors!

Anyway, I have prob got into this as I am bored of the Catterall fight
Can I have that in English? Is this a boxing forum or a red carpet appreciation board for ex pros?

I think as a man he has his priorities right. Loves his wife, loves his kids, decent sense of right and wrong. Got a lot of unnecessary hate cos he played up to the panto.

I'm sure the haters will think of him in a new light now!

I'm not a big fan of many successful people as a personality.

To be successful you have to be driven, it doesn't happen by accident, and some of those characteristics don't make you fun to be around.

But you have to appreciate what this says about their character.

Boxing is damn dangerous, and the sacrifices you make mean you often go without a life, and that's before you have any success

Very lucky fighter during his career, every time he stepped up he was easily beaten, never dethroned a champion.

Now just a Matchroom shill, his bias is unreal and his commentry and punditry is poor because if this

Keeping himself in a job though, but most except casuals see through it

Used to post on here and was very pro FW.
Used to be very anti-drugs on Twitter.
Now he gloats on Twitter about Conor Benn being “cleared” and seems to worship AJ and Hearn.
Bell. End.

Try not to concentrate on other people guys. Holding hate or dislike for someone inside you isnt healthy and does you no good what so ever when you think about it.
Feeling annoyed or angry or jealous of something you can do nothing about except vent on a forum or maybe get into an arguement on a forum with another person you dont know is basically mental.
Theres people I dont care for, but it rarely becomes real vehement dislike because if they dont bring positivity or good stuff to my thoughts I simply dont think about them. If they are on a program and I cant avoid them I just dont rise to what annoys me.
Other peoples issues or problems or character flaws are only your problem if you let them be.
If you enjoy being angry or pointing this stuff out or arguing with strangers about other strangers perhaps you need to look at that??

Yep agree with your analysis of him as a fighter, in old money he’d probably be a good solid European champ at best

Aside from the obvious house bias, which sadly is prevalent on all channels now, he’s grown on me as a pundit. He reads a fight well and seems pretty knowledgeable. His mindless defence of Benn you’ve got to put down to toeing the matchroom line - Eddie’s probably said to him listen Tony you can say what you like about Benn and what a cheat he is after we’ve all made mega bucks from the Eubank fight - until then, keep schtum mate.

People obviously enjoy giving their opinions on the sport and theres a lot who care.

In addition there are a lot of people from within
The sport who visit this place. So people obviously enjoy giving their opinion and enjoy winding people up.

You mention about enjoy being angry … personalities within boxing are perhaps the most over sensitive, arrogant ****s I know. Somethink they are beyond reproach.

Negative opinions create negative thoughts on both sides, negative thoughts are a leading cause of bad mental health, I dont want anyone to suffer with that os i try to get people being a bit more positive where i can.
again if people enjoy winding up people they dont know up, I think thats a bit silly, Enjoying winding people up leads to arguements, Why would any normal rational human being enjoy winding someone and potentially provoking an argument? Its like the pub nause getting a kick out of wandering round looking for an arguement . I'm trying to help people, its not healthy to be annoyed or angry about something you can do nothing about. Its fairly obvious a lot of people are pretty mad about people theyv never me,t I just think its a waste of energy.
As people love to point out everybody has a right to an opinion and mine is that getting annoyed to the point of writing long rambling posts about people they have never met and probably never will is crazy and not healthy.
