Well yeah of course, Haye said he weighed 15 and a half stone, the same weight he boxed at and someone said they didn't believe him. All I'm saying is it's not beyond the realm of possibility, he looks in pretty good shape still.jwfg wrote: ↑22 Oct 2023, 13:07I'm just saying.... it's impossible to guess someone's weight by looking at them.

I would imagine his weight is distributed differently now.Controversial wrote: ↑22 Oct 2023, 13:10Well yeah of course, Haye said he weighed 15 and a half stone, the same weight he boxed at and someone said they didn't believe him. What bit? To be fair he posted a video of it at the time where he showed himself fat and then showed his progress.
For David Haye it’s a surprise, he looks significantly lighter than when he was boxing at Heavy.

I don't really see a major difference to be fair. His last few fights he was 220-228 but prior to this against Chisora, Klitschko and Harrison he was 210. He videoed himself being weighed in 2021 and he was 211.leejonesjnr wrote: ↑22 Oct 2023, 14:57For someone , no not at all.Controversial wrote: ↑22 Oct 2023, 11:1615 and a half stone for someone 6’3” and muscular isn’t that hard to believe is it?

I'm 210 currently, and I'm nowhere near as big as Haye, he has probably lost some muscle mass, and his walk around weight was probably easily over 200 when he comepezed at the old cruiserweight limit.
I take it back, he looks to have lost a lot of muscle mass in that pic. Could be lighting though.

He does look a good deal smaller though.
Why is he topless with a hat on?

This was in 2021. He probably has lost some muscle mass now in his 40s and not training as hard but his weight looks the same (211 lbs)

I’m too stupid to know how to post images on here.
The first link is Haye at heavy, the second is Feb this year.
Perhaps he is still 220 ish, they just don’t look the same weight to me.

Against De Mori he was at a career heaviest 228, when he fought Chisora, Klitschko and Harrison he was 210 so almost a stone and a half lighter so yeah I guess he will look smaller.leejonesjnr wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 07:38 I’m too stupid to know how to post images on here.

I’ve lost interest in the discussion about Haye being fat or thin, nobody ever really changes their mind do they?
Do people believe that he was dirty?

Of course it might be possible as doping isn’t just for bulking, it’s recovery, strength, fat burning, blood oxygen, you name it!leejonesjnr wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 08:40 I’ve lost interest in the discussion about Haye being fat or thin, nobody ever really changes their mind do they?

Later in his career (for the Bellew fights I think) he opted out of WBC's mandatory testing.leejonesjnr wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 08:40 I’ve lost interest in the discussion about Haye being fat or thin, nobody ever really changes their mind do they?

He was heavier in his comeback in 2016 (220-228lbs) after being inactive since 2012 (210lbs)

Obviously I have no clue, but I’d imagine most ranked heavyweights are not natty! I can’t imagine any cruiserweight moving up to heavyweight are doing it off chicken, broccoli and rice!leejonesjnr wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 08:48I’m aware.polecateddy wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 08:46Of course it might be possible as doping isn’t just for bulking, it’s recovery, strength, fat burning, blood oxygen, you name it!leejonesjnr wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 08:40 I’ve lost interest in the discussion about Haye being fat or thin, nobody ever really changes their mind do they?

I boxed at 200. I’m in better shape now than I was then and I weigh 215 today. If a rubbish cruiser can do it then a great one can?polecateddy wrote: ↑23 Oct 2023, 09:31Obviously I have no clue, but I’d imagine most ranked heavyweights are not natty! He said he could make CW but had to watch his diet
‘At cruiserweight I could make the weight, but I wasn’t that comfortable. I’d have three months of real strict dieting, cutting back on my carbs, but still trying to do two or three training sessions a day and then having a little dry-out close to the fight – it’s not ideal but I can do it.
‘At heavyweight it’s the complete opposite. I can eat eight meals a day if I need to. I can do more weight training, stuff that I didn’t really want to do at cruiserweight. I still worry about my food – obviously I still eat clean and healthy – but I try to eat more volume and it feels good. I feel more healthy at heavyweight than I did at cruiserweight.’

History seems willing to ignore Vitaly 'retiring' with a knee injury as from memory there were a lot of higher profile figures getting snared in the PEDs net at that time, mostly US I think,, and then losing weight and mass during his absence and then returning undimmed, restored nearly four years later. Very iffy I always felt.jameswilson wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 11:26 I can remember David Haye taking a fairly long amount of time out between Macarinelli and his next fight at heavyweight. Obviously pure coincidence.
