Civic Hall for the Prizefighter with Glen Foot, Eggington etc was wild.

MGM Grand for Thurman, Broner, Abner Mares was fascinating.

Harrow Leisure Centre was bonkers

Copper Box when full is fun without a bad seat in the house.

MEN was pretty special with Crolla at his peak.

Without a doubt it USED to be the pubs , ALL my local pubs USED to show every big fight , the places were full to watch the big names from Mike Tyson , years ago trhough to Tzyu , Mayweather , and others , there was always a great atmosphere , get in early for a seat or watch from on one of the many tv's stood up , Fast forward , to present day and NON of the pubs show boxing not within 50 klm of me anyway , occasional MMA but very rarely boxing anymore .

So in come the new era , its a stream for me and i always stream , because i'm not paying for the rubbish they put up on ppv , UNLESS its a big fight i really want to watch , and don't want to risk a stream going down , which they rarely do ,

but if its a big one , then its beer , shrimps on the barby , time i enjoy the buildup , more because i will go out for weeks before and catch fish , and squid for the barby , and spend a few days up on the river catching , yabbys , (fresh water shrimps , prawns ).. Come fight day where we are we usually get the fights starting around 10 am makes for a good day its always with my sons and good mates and ends up more like a party .

Live fights , i get my fix at ameteur shows .

I was at the prizefighter. The was a quality night. Yates was electric b4 hand. Loads of banter flying about and no trouble.

Donny Dome for me just cos that's where I went as a kid and watched Jonny Nelson, remember being so excited and thinking the crowd was easily a million people!

Boxed there too, was a good atmosphere or did I? Maybe it was Barnsley, I'll have to check

When you pack a leisure centre out it's a great atmosphere.

brilliant, I've watched quite a few over there, was always so exciting, started getting nervous going down Bessacarr Road on way. Great memories.

O2 is hell on earth.

Yeah i been quiet a few times. Parking is awful avoid the 02 parking and try the train station. I hear horror stories people trying to get home after Haye - Enzo Macc.

In all the venus I have worked whilst the atmospere was great the Olympic Stadium Moscow Russia was absolutely terrible and you simply wouldn’t believe reason … cats p*ss

Yep stench of cats p**s was almost over powering.

Never seen so many ferrel cats.

The russians paid the WBSS a lot of money so they
Could stage Murat Gassiev v Uleksandr Uysyk … the Ukrainian duly completely outclassed the Russian .

I remember going to a karaoke bar with members of the team and the delicious looking ringcard girls. Francis W arren tagged along, he was good company and whats better … he paid the bar bill.

Went to The Odeseey Arena Belfast with
David Haye to watch Carl Frampton v Chris Avalos.

Great atmosphere

Brilliant night out afterwards as got David an appearance at a club. Really well looked after.

Boxed at Dudley when the MaCkrackens were fighting, there was mote old bill there than spectators!

All small halls are (almost always) okay as everyone there knows one of the boxers.
All Arenas and Stadiums are (almost always) fqing dreadful, especially near the ring where hundreds of utter cnts are strutting around and death staring everyone.
The best atmosphere at a contest I attended as a punter was MEN for Hatton v Tszyu.

Fought there a few times, the best and the worst! Proper rocking when it gets going

My opponent's mates came to my corner just before our bout at York Hall started, then every minute's rest in between the rounds, to tell me I was getting knocked out. I told them I wasn't and, thankfully, lasted the distance. It was a good humoured bit of back and forth. The away "changing rooms" were a disgrace, though.

That was nearly thirty years ago. They might have painted them and plumbed in a sink, shower and toilet since then.
