John Mugabi's height is down as 5ft 8 1/2 inches with boxrec. He is certainly described as that size against Marvin Hagler but the tale of the tape looks iffy to me. Watch the very start of the link:

I think the angle in that video is misleading, in the fight you can see the are about the same height. Also you can see Mugabi and Terry Norris close up below and also very similar heights. Norris listed as 5'9" (about 1 min 20s)

Mugabi had such a physical presence in a boxing ring that I always imagined him to be a six footer. The Hagler fight ruined him, in my opinion. He came back against Duane Thomas and looked terrible up to the third round when he caught an accidental thumb and is stopped. In fact, Mugabi never really won another big fight. He stopped the Frenchman Rene Jacquot in the first round in 1989 but Jacquot slipped and did his ankle. After that, Mugabi got done by Norris and later by Gerald McClellan.
