Should that read Dec 6th, and not Jan 6th though ?

Its a shame that a bigger fight couldn't have been arranged. Hatton will beat Urango and once he's got the IBF belt back, things could look interesting at 140lbs.

If Witter beats Corley, I wonder if Warren will attempt to instigate some unifications bouts involving the WBC, WBA and WBO titles, to either isolate Ricky or force him to do business with him ?

Lets hope for a great undercard for Hatton vs Urango, as we're gonna be asked to cough up fifteen quid to see it.

Seems like the feud between Hatton and Warren has dulled down, in Warrens column today in NOTW he says...

"Sports Network has discontinued its action against Ray & Ricky Hatton. The aim of both parties is to enter into discussions which will form the basis of a working relationship in the future"

That and inviting Hatton to a few of his shows on ITV, also theres a big header on the left of his article..

I imaging it must be Jan 6th (Rawling said in November though!). I say this cause he looked as big as I have seen him. He should be in camp very soon to get to weight and also work on the technical aspect.

That's all over. As Lvlarc_uk says, Warren mentions in his NOTW column that Sports Network have dropped their action against the Hattons.

Is a Hatton/Warren reunion on for summer 2007? I wouldn't be at all suprised.

IMO, it won't be long before Hatton-Warren are back working together, especially if legal action has been withdrawn.

Providing Hatton & Witter come through their next fights, we could yet see Hatton-Witter square off, which would be great. There is plenty of needle there, I think.

Do you guys think Ricky & Frank will work together again?

boils down to money. You can be sure that allegedly has paid a huge chunk of Ricky's legal fees. Probably well over £100,000. He knew he didn't have a case, the court case and the Mbaye case was designed to knacker Ricky's career.

It not that surprising..... I wonder if SN would attempt to get Hobson to work for them (in like a Frank Maloney esque role) - with this FA split it would be probably an excellent move for British boxing.

The depth of talent full stop in the UK isn't strong enough for the number of promoters. SN have about 3 geniune main eventers, FA have two (I mean main eventers who would interest US TV now!).

If Maloney and Warren could for a few years, after their earlier exchanges - then anything can happen. Hell, DK and allegedly have worked together after their court cases (Calzaghe vs Ashira).

Stranger things have happened in boxing I guess. Will be interesting to see where Hobson goes from here.
