talk about a contrast. Wilder stops him late-maybe round 11 after being well behind on the cards.

Either Byrd outboxes Wilder behind his southpaw jabs and counterpunches to take a decision or Wilder could catch him to knock Byrd out in the late rounds at best.

A one was a good boxer without a punch, another was a great puncher, who couldn't box.

Still Byrd was hit often enough. Wilder KOs him at some point.

Both at their absolute best Byrd outboxes Wilder I think, but Byrd's focus has to be razor sharp because one of them Wilder right hands gets through clean at any point, and it's curtains.

More often than not, Byrd would win by decision.
You do have to give Wilder the puncher's chance. He simply doesn't throw enough punches to have a good chance of actually landing the big one. However, Byrd while a good defensive fighter, was not a great defensive fighter that some make him to be. This gives Wilder a shot.

Wilder could score a knockout in the first minute, or he could drop a close decision.
