A lot of people talking about that punch, saying there was nothing on it.

It did not look like the type of punch you'd expect to drop a top tier heavyweight; certainly not Tyson Fury who has had this myth of having a solid chin since being dropped by Deontay Wilder multiple of times ..

But the punch had enough to knock the spray off his head and send ripples running down Fury's flabby back as heading down to the canvas. Fury also instinctively looked at his corner which hurt fighters do.

My thoughts are that Fury believed in his own hype and expected to be a million miles ahead of Ngannou with his boxing ability - and found out a fit and strong 19st fella is a legitimate risk whilst he is standing in front of a fat unfit 19st fella.

Definitely not a dive, you could clearly see the shock on his face on the canvas. To be fair, Fury has never been known for an iron chin, it's his recuperative powers which are impressive, rather than his ability to absorb shots without going down.

Taking a dive is like taking a knee or at least you would use your gloves to break the fall

You only had to look at Warren's face after the fight to see it wasn't fixed. He muttered something about Fury being the man and that people had to wait for him. Don't think he believed it though

Will Doofus own up to being the single "Yes" vote so far?

Doofy is incommunicado at the moment. He's hired a dark room to sit inside for a week, but will emerge enlightened.

... sometime in April 2024 (when Tyson Fury has ducked fighting Usyk in December 2023 and March 2024) and again inform us that Joshua ducked fighting Tyson twice in the last 9 months :TU:

Those punches to the side of the head can result scramble your senses, as if he would take a dive against a debutant,

You see the spray fly off his head plus it lands around the top of his head/ear area.

If one of us took that shot with respect we would be in agony for days afterwards and undoubtably knocked out.

Speak for yourself. I have little doubt that I could absorb such a light cuff and instantly return fire with a lightning one inch punch. Game over.

Just watched the knockdown, no doubt he was hurt. He was slightly off balance, but he went down hard, and you could see he looked stunned on the deck.

Congratulations, this is an incredibly stupid post.

"Did he take a dive for a knockdown?"

If it was a Dive, he would've STAYED DOWN. That's what a Dive is.

I was more impressed with Ngannou’s restraint when the action resumed, than the actual knockdown.

I’m sure a lot of people expected Francis to throw the kitchen sink at Fury, in that moment, which would have been a mistake.
