Aussie veteran and former world champion Sam Soliman turns 50 on November 13th and is fighting again on December 9th, a month into his 50s.
Soliman 49-17-1 will be looking for his 50th career win against Kiwi born Alex Walters 18-1. Walters' is the Australian super middleweight champion and his only loss was to exciting undefeated prosect Andrei Mikhailovich. Walters' other opponents have been comparatively mediocre though.

Not familiar with the Soliman opponent.
Can the old man beat him or is he. being used as a name opponent for the ranking?

Saw one of Soliman's recent fights and he hasn't got much left. Shadow of what he once was but age and 100s of rounds will do that to you.

walters talked mad smack to andrei, then got smacked down. perfect for one of those 'fighters before and after' compilations
he's doing a good crack head impression. would guess he's closer to 44 than 24 on that pic
although unfortunetly i suspect he'll have more than enough to beat up sam at this stage
