Fair play to him, Fwank will promote him as the next big thing, but match him like he's not.

Yeah this was mentioned in the IFL interview Frank did the day after Fury v Ngannou.
I’m a Dacres fan and reckon he will go a bit further than he’s already gone. He was sparring and training as part of Fury’s team so getting in there with Fury and Parker and Bakole will do him no harm.
I think he has more power than he has shown but probably doesn’t hit as hard as Wardley. I think the person to eventually beat Wardley will be the one who beats him to the jab and wins those exchanges. Off the back of winning that I think you take a lot away from Wardley. And yeah I reckon Dacres is that guy I think his work rate and power will improve a fair bit in the next year or so.
The problem he has had is he’s horrendously avoided. To fight for the English title they had to go god knows how far down the list until they got to Ismay.
Because of that I’d expect international opposition and just hope it’s better than the seasoning that Adeleye got. Hopefully Adeleye gets a comeback win after a rest, Dacres has two fights and the two face off.

Back in the days before the internet, if you shipped in an opponent with a padded record, you could get away with it. People would see the record in the program or hear it being read out and be like, 'blimey, this guy must be good'. Nowadays, a few clicks of the mouse and you find out the guy is actually a Croatian bus driver. I don't think Fwank realises the world has changed.

Funnily enough I reckon Dacres's last opponent will be bought back for someone because he went the distance and looked tough to stop.

I’m not the biggest fan of Decres, but Im interested in seeing what Frank does with him. Perhaps they can get him out on this supposed Dec 23 Saudi card or whatever appropriate show against someone like a Christian Hammer.
Then go for Wardley, if he loses Frank can do an in-house fight with Adeleye next summer after David has had a rebuild fight.

I like Dacres but what do you Do with him…
He is way to good to put in with your prospects for the “English title”.
He is hard to build really, I guess you just pray he gets called mando for the Brittsh soon.

Dacres is a good boxer, I rate him. Probably lacking the punch as the levels increase but It will be interesting to see what Warren has planned for him. Sounds like they are paying good money to get him.

He’s a tidy boxer but his lack of power will hold him back.

Dacres has been added to the Manchester bill next week.
Defends his English title vs Middlesborough’s Michael Webster who was due to face the big Scottish guy Nick Campbell. I think that Campbell fight was meant to happen this weekend (very soon anyway) so he will have been training but assuming Campbell was going ahead with the fight feels a bit unfair to poach his opponent (assuming that’s what has happened.)

very weak opponent, only fought one person with a winning record. I like Dacres though, he's going to do well, I guess it's all slow stepping stones, I get it. It will be an easy win though.jameswilson wrote: ↑10 Nov 2023, 17:13 Dacres has been added to the Manchester bill next week.

I know it sounds simplistic but he needs to get to the Mando spot and defending the English title over and over will get him there.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑10 Nov 2023, 18:33very weak opponent, only fought one person with a winning record. It’s been a year since he’s signed.
In December, he goes head to head with Adeleye

Should decide one half of the next vacant British title fight.
Re: Solomon Dacres Signs Long Term Deal with Queensberry Promotions
Dacres vs adele a good match up , both relatively novice like and maybe it will turn into a war after a few rounds .
Re: Solomon Dacres Signs Long Term Deal with Queensberry Promotions
Fisher vs Allen probably decides the other half.jameswilson wrote: ↑31 Oct 2024, 11:55 Should decide one half of the next vacant British title fight.

Dacres v Adeleye is a nice fight.
Adeleye is a know with one last chance to prove himself but he can definitely punch hard.
This will be the boxer v the puncher with dodgy stamina. Should be a food fight on paper.
