lol no one was praising aj for what he was doing or suggesting he was acting altruistically, in fact the praise came for turning his path around. im just calling out someone pulling a statement out of their arse about something they have no clue. but do go on and tell us the stories of each person whose live aj damaged because they smoked some of his famous weed 15 years ago

You'll get no argument from me concerning the way he's gone from villain to hero, immense credit to him for doing that.

There's no need for me to give specific examples when the received wisdom is that cannabis is harmful to people's health, that's not pulling a statement out of my arse, it's just an acknowledged fact. The onus is on you to produce stories to contradict that fact if you know that AJ enhanced the lives of the people he sold drugs to.

no it's not, i never made the claim that he harmed people's lives, you did, despite knowing absolutely nothing about those cases. he who makes the claim has the onus

there are many proven benefits to weed and loads of examples of it helping people immensely. it's a real thing that's well documented. i also know several people who had years of chronic pain they've only managed to deal with due to it - it transformed their lives. thankfully people are getting far less hysterically prude about it these days and it's legalized in more places, so fewer people have to buy off the streets anyway

I don't think I'm being hysterically prude in suggesting that an illegal drug with proven harmful effects was detrimental to the lives of the people AJ sold it to.

To deny that in general weed harms people's lives is naive and whether you like it or not that is the received wisdom - recreational drugs are bad for you. Isolated examples of a small minority who benefit medicinally don't disprove the widely accepted theory.
