I really like this fight if it happens. Nganu needs a win, and del is probably as good a fighter as you could put him on with and have nganu a slight favourite.
If I was nganu I would try skip this step and go strait to biggg AJ or wilder money though… because if del beats him then what….

Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
I'd be expecting a Haye style KO of Chizza from Ngannou. Haye really hit the right notes that night.
Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
Zhang, Chisora, Wallin, Bakole, Parker, Makhmudov Miller and possibly Wilder.
Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
I agree but we were really talking about AJ and why he doesnt fight more often .maverick23 wrote: ↑09 Nov 2023, 18:36I’d imagine very very few boxers make millions from sponsorship. AJ will but how many others? I’d be surprised if many are making £100k let alone £1m+.stevec@france wrote: ↑09 Nov 2023, 13:07$$$$£££££
if you have sponsorship and advertising etc bringing in millions then there is probably no real sense of urgency to do the " day job "

gregregegg wrote: ↑10 Nov 2023, 17:10If Chisora takes it serious, I'd favour him to beat Ngannou over 10rnds. Ngannou didn't do anything except make Fury look bad by doing the basics.
Chisora should still have enough left to out smart and out box him.
If I were managing Ngannou I'd either wait for the Fury rematch or take a big money fight against AJ if it's on offer.

I bet it'll be Chisora.
He's the sort of scrub who is credible enough to be a decent scalp, but shit enough that anybody mildly competent should be beating him.

Del might beat him.
Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight? - Fun night.
Talks are ongoing but the Saudi's want Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua to feature (won't be fighting each other)
Can they really pull this off?

Apparently they’re looking at Wallin for AJ and Bakole for Wilder.
I’d be surprised if we see either.

Wilder vs Bakole would be worth the entrance fee/pay per view cost alone.maverick23 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2023, 06:33 Apparently they’re looking at Wallin for AJ and Bakole for Wilder.

Agreed. I just can’t see Wilder taking it.big lennox wrote: ↑11 Nov 2023, 06:59Wilder vs Bakole would be worth the entrance fee/pay per view cost alone.maverick23 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2023, 06:33 Apparently they’re looking at Wallin for AJ and Bakole for Wilder.

Me either, but it's all about the Benjamins. If the Saudis are offering him a silly money, you never know.maverick23 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2023, 07:04Agreed. do we think he could still get added to the card?
Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
Could be as a cross seller to the MMA audience.
Who?
Depends who’s fit or perhaps who’s not fit?
I’d say Derek is he’s up for it. If Derek is fit then a dodgy one for Francis.
If they want a Francis win. Then give it to Dave Allen, Franklin, Pukev or Povetkin (if he isn’t binging on sturgeon)
Any of those would have given Fury a worse problem last month. And I’m being serious

Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
Surely everyone beats Ngannou? It seems to me like Fury had such a hard time because he literally had no power on the night. Most heavyweights shouldn’t have the same issue.
Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
Chisora had posters for a match up between him and Ngannou in his feed weeks ago. I took the bait and assumed it was real, but clearly nothing agreed yet.
I actually think Ngannou is a beast and a problem for everybody.

Povetkin is utterly shot and also the Russian issue. Pulev is a good shout - lively big lad getting on a bit and has done some kind of cross-over already, absolutely hammering some ruined old MMA guy a while backSeanBrennan wrote: ↑15 Nov 2023, 17:50agreed, I think it will be Dereck. I remember that, in a weird ring, he wiped out Frank Mir, who has weirdly had a 'proper' boxing fight vs Cunningham.golden_labrador wrote: ↑18 Nov 2023, 09:48Povetkin is utterly shot and also the Russian issue.
