What colour of underpants is AJ wearing today John Doofy?

Usyk, definitely.

I couldn't stand Fury and his antics. Always thought he should keep his mouth shut until he's proven himself. Then he beat Klitschko in the most boring fight I've ever sat through and retired.

I liked him in the build-up and after the Wilder fights.
His brash arrogance did fit well against Wilder's weird stuff he'd say, trying to be all sage but coming across as thick as two short planks.

I like Usyk. His cool, calm, humourous approach makes Tyson's antics look even more stupid.

Tyson is a difficult man to follow. ADHD off the charts

Well, being a mummy's boy clearly works better than being daddy's boy. Just look at what's happened to poor Tyson with Big John at the helm!
Thousands have turned against him...hundreds of thousands! :o

Usyk for me, Fury is just so tiresome, a compulsive liar who never really gets dug up for it. He should be asked at every presser and every interview he does if he actually gave his purse for Wilder 1 to the homeless.

I think Usyk stops him.

Did I imagine it or did someone mention Froch?
The Cobra's not holding back.
I think an invite to The Knitting Circle's next AGM is on the cards.

“I think it’s old hat. When he starts with the name-calling and personal insults on physical appearances I just think it’s not manly. It’s funny at the start … it’s probably why he struggles to get sponsorship let’s be honest. It’s a hard sell for a company when he’s got the mouth he’s got. The potty mouth.”

“When I watched it the other day, I’ve got to be honest, I’m bored of listening to him. He’s embarrassing himself. I thought Oleksandr Usyk was pure class … He came out of this looking very good and Tyson Fury is now the bad guy that everybody wants to lose. I’m not talking about myself, I’m talking about the feedback and the comments you read.”

“Him and his dad, I think it’s embarrassing … You’re representing your sport, yourself, your county and another country in Saudi Arabia – they must be looking at this thinking what is going off. Is this really how they conduct business? There’s often needle in fights but there’s always a line we don’t cross, and Tyson Fury time and time again crosses that line.”

“I don’t talk to anybody who wants Tyson Fury to win this fight. He’s turned everybody against him.”

Froch sees and tells it from the fans perspective on his Youtube channel and I`ve certainly warmed to him over the last year or so. I found Froch refreshing when he recently called out the idiot John Fury for all his threatening to hit whoever or claiming to be `the ardest etc` whilst the nut-huggers like Bunce still lap John Fury`s attention seeking up.

Froch is again true regarding Fury`s toxic brand and lack of decent sponsors. Fury has made many millions its true - but he could have made much much more if he and his father weren`t so crude and offensive.
George Foreman made the bulk of his millions from outside of his fighting - I believe Fury could have too if he wasn`t so thick.

Surely rooting for someone just cos they have the same passport is archaic and backward…..??? who would root for someone simply on the basis They’re from the same geographic locality? Ludicrous in his day and age….. I’m going for Usyk by far the most moral and decent individual

Toxic? I don’t recall ever watching “At home with the Froch’s” or purchasing energy drinks, protein bars or chewing gum bearing his name.

I don't have massive dislike for Fury, the guy is clearly bi-polar. His Dad is just a cringefest and getting worse. Overall, I just want to see a good fight.

Interesting to hear John H Stracey's thoughts, as well as Carl Froch's, Spencer Oliver's and Adam Catterall's.

Interesting moment after the presser when Wardley, who's sparred both Usyk and Fury, said that Usyk's hit him harder than Fury has.

I'm sure Usyk's inclined to give bigger opponents an occasional taste to keep them from taking liberties. Wouldn't read too much into that.

If they set their feet and find the shots they can hurt each other well enough.

I'm not 'rooting' for anyone, but if I had to judge I would say Usyk is the more deserving boxer.

The Fury-mania in this country developed because of a couple of reasons. The first was the hatred of AJ (pre-Ruiz fight) who had all the spotlight at the time. Fury was the polar opposite of a handsome muscular boxer KO'ing everybody, getting all the women and brand sponserships, and was being portrayed as a national treasure from the excessive marketing, which people started to hate. Fury was the fat bald white guy but the pure boxer. The hatred of AJ basically became support for Fury and sometimes felt like it was marred in racial undertones (especially around 2016, circa the brexit vote).

The second reason was his mental health story and comeback with the wilder trilogy which won over the public. Gotta say I found it inspiring at the time like most people did, but in hindsight him and his family were geniuses for stretching a trilogy against an opponent they were able to play mind games with from the start (proof https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/d ... y-23009776) .

I was watching Furys netflix show and maybe its theatrics but the guy seemed like he had constant temper tantrums and just unlikable. The Fury family look like they have more money than they know what to do with.

And then you have Usyk. Consistent track record, Olympian, funny but composed, and constantly defeating the odds. He beat AJ at home, was forced to give AJ a rematch, beat him TWICE. He beat Chisora in a small ring designed to cut off his space. Pulled it out the bag and beat Dubious. He has beaten just about every notable heavyweight from the UK apart from Fury. He's always in shape, always training, and a crazy devout Christian (whereas Fury seems to play the part).

If they do fight, I'll expect Uysk to get his hand raised.
