Just seen the stoppage, it looks a poor decision to say the least!

I'm still annoyed about the stoppage but fair play to both fighters - that was a tremendous fight.
George boxed superbly and Froch kept going; despite often being beaten to the punch.
Would love to see a rematch.

I watched this today doing my run.
I remembered it the way that most people seem to: Groves won the first half, Froch was coming back into it from 7 and getting stronger then the bullsht stoppage.
The reality is that it was more one sided than that, Groves bossed the whole fight, Frochvjad a good fifth but Groves won big in 6 and 7 and was still winning the exchanges in 8 and 9.
It was an even worse stoppage than I remember.

Watching it again, Froch wasn’t coming on strong as people tend to say, he was just getting a bit less of a kicking.

It was an amazing fight. I still remember the shock of seeing Froch go down in the first round. Really pleased that they have got such a good friendship out of it.

At least Carl gave him a rematch and put it to bed.
Can't blame Carl for the refs stoppage.

You could argue at the time that Froch was almost as robbed as Groves was, given the stick he got afterwards.
Brilliant performance from Froch in the rematch.
