Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
Sounds like this fight has just been made with Parker himself announcing it.
With Parker and Fury being great mates its not surprising to see this fight land on Fury's UC.
Parker goes in as a strong favourite and its good to see him staying busy in 2023. However having said that Kean should provide a sterner test for Joe than his last two opponents given hes a legitimate Heavyweight at 6'5 and 110-112kg with 22KO's in 23 wins he has some pop in his hands albeit against journeyman type opponents and washed up former contenders such as Eric Molina and Sergei Liakovich
I'll pick Parker by TKO8

Simon Kean gonna take a risk? Hard to believe. But Parker is the wrong opponent to take a risk against unless you're just trying to cash out.

Parker has looked pretty mediocre at times lately. But There a levels and Parker should win easily, but big name, ex world champ, you win that fight your in a very good spot. Better than fvcking around when your 34…
But yea wanna get paid too….

Re: Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
I don’t give him much, but some for sure.
If kean is even slightly competitive with Parker it’s an amazing insight to how random boxing careers can be. Parker having made 10+ million, headlined ppvs and being world champ. Kean having done nothing…
Parker is an mvp overachiever to be fair.

kean is crude and packing glass, but he can punch, and joe has looked more ragged lately. parker should stop him but kean has an outside chance

Why is he made of glass? I have seen that said befor, cant say i have seen much of him, but from his record all i can see is getting stopped by carmon who can whack and it was those sneaky behind the ear shots that can fry anyone...margaret thatcher wrote: ↑18 Sep 2023, 00:25 kean is crude and packing glass, but he can punch, and joe has looked more ragged lately. parker should stop him but kean has an outside chance
Winters put him down too, but i have no idea what that shot was (but he came back to win so good recovery.).
Not saying he isnt made of glass, just havent reallly seen it.
Edit: stopped couple times ams too i guess, didnt notice that at first.
Re: Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
Kean freezes when attacked and hit. A deer in the headlights. Unless he steamrolls Parker and KO's him early, he will lose. Kean is really strong but his punch technique his flawed.

Re: Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
Parker has been steadily declining for a while.
He should be winning this fight at a canter, but you never know with Parker these days.
Because he has been on the decline, he sometimes struggles when you expect him to be a class above his opponent.

Re: Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
i have seen him absolutely slept in the ams, with headgear on, from a non puncher. that is just one of his many stoppage losses in the ams. his am record on boxrec doesnt include them all either, he got stopped by victor bisbal too for example.gregregegg wrote: ↑18 Sep 2023, 03:45Why is he made of glass? he was also dropped in the pros by randy johnson
carman can hit but he's low level stuff and might be the only puncher keans face - and kean got badly hurt the first time. winters is an old lumbering dude who again showed the fragility.
kean can punch too, but any serious fire comes his way and he's very vulnerable.
Re: Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
Kean is 34 and has been in the game a while. Parker is certainly the favorite but this would be an only a mild upset. Might as well take the fight.
Re: Parker vs Kean - on Fury UC
Looking forward to their match slope

You mean there wasn't a rematch clause?
