not really an experiment, one night tournaments were done for ages before prizefighter

i enjoyed it too. wouldnt mind them being brought back is moderation. the japanese would bring it hard too.

from what I've read/listened it sounds like the format won't be multiple fights in a night. More like a poor version of WBSS.

I’ve not seen anything about it so don’t know if it’s a prizefighter tournament or JBSS but a prizefighter is surely a good way to enter a new market. Low cost, novelty value and at the end of it you are left with a boxer that you can sell next time out.

The heavyweight prizefighters were ok.

Very little footage on YouTube.

The final between Skelton and sprott was a total war !

I loved them especially at the beginning. Rees went on to win a world title after it. I liked the HW ones, remember Sprott winning one after his sister was murdered and he dedicated it to her, you could tell it meant a lot. And Audley's two tournament wins made me think he'd win a world title (bless the naivete).
