More of a good event than a good fight, far too much mauling. KT probably edged it but CC had more left at the end.

Darren Barker is a mega simp, and Costello not far behind.

Skye Nicholson was boxer of the night

Saw from about 8 o clock onwards and thought it was all pretty average.
Must have been some action earlier .

Cameron was right to not waste energy contesting the clinches, but that left her on the backfoot every time Taylor leant against her to throw on the break. She basically enforced her turns via holds and then held again before Cameron planted her feet to answer.

It's legal I suppose, and if Cameron were better she'd have created more angles when Taylor kept pushing her. If there's a third fight she'll need to keep on the outside and learn to reverse clinches as much as possible.

Never scored as such but as brutal as the Taylor love fest was in comms, her messy but fairly accurate bursts probably trumped Cameron's conservative approach, I thought Taylor was getting schooled this time, I'm delighted for her, THE ultimate professional

She fought more like that first time around, but Cameron said coming into the fight that Taylor is free with the head .
She was going to try and avoid it this time , didn't work out so well .

Wouldn't disagree, I just didn't like her reliance on clinches to circumvent clean boxing.

Yeah, by the time I think she realised her tactics were wrong it was too late.

Bit odd that.

Yeah 98-92 was well out of line.

The commentators would have you believe we were watching an all time classic where in reality we saw a scrappy fight with little in it.

I have no complaints about 95-95 or 96-94 either way.

Just watched the highlights…

Coms are shocking. So so bias.

Both in black and gold is a joke, surely that has to be stopped, I got mixed up once or twice… sure the judges could have of had the same problem…

That was a knockdown

Trilogy needed.

Katy didn’t dint her with a punch at any point… sat on a few more than her usual arm punch flurries but not too inspiring.

Katy has been unreal for women’s boxing but, though she was 0-1-1 vs person (who had a day job), I though she got killed by Serrano (think I had it 10-0 which I know is seen as ludicrous by most just how I saw it. Though she lost clear to Cameron first fight. And based of the highlights (so very loose opinion) she got a bit lucky tonight… above could all be losses

Sometimes considered the goat… would it still be true if she was 20-4 rather than 23-1

THIS , yep agree but then i would of took a point for headbutting , a point for holding , and disqulified Tylor if she carried on doing it , then probably got shot

Its probably a good thing for Cameron losing last night would probably make way more money in the 3rd fight at Croke Park. then fighting many more times in smaller venues against way less money opponents while KT either fights someone else or retires.

True. She can win the third fight, no doubt, and hopefully have enough money to retire (along with Katie). It was a tough, brutal fight for both of them and pushed me a bit in terms of what I'm willing to watch with women's boxing.

Seeing that awful wound and blood pouring out of CC was tough. KT also had flashes across her face of being lost and hurt, and almost looking like a young girl. Must admit there were times when I felt uncomfortable with all that as a spectacle.

I haven't watched but based on the stats it looks like Taylor was given all the swing rounds which you tend to expect from a home town fighter. Was it a robbery or a close fight?

Taylor was probably stealing rounds with her quick 3 punch combos she was doing every now and then. It looked good and flashy.. crowd literally got an erection everytime she threw a punch, never mind land.

Taylor definitely won IMO. For me, it wasn't close at all. She should have been warned about headbutts, but Cameron landed a few of them also. The ref should have called a knockdown in the first.

Just watched some of the highlights. Why was the knockdown not given? Looked weird as the punch didn't connect well but didn't look like an obvious trip or slip??
