Would have been a great time for that fight as Tyson hadn't completely lost his skills and will, while Sapp was still viewed as pretty indestructable after beating Ernesto Hoost twice.
Mike probably would have been the one to expose Sapp as a guy who crumbles with one good punch to the face, which was Sapp's pattern for the last dozen or so years of his career.
Even after "sign the contract, big boy" the fight could have been marketed well, since Tyson hadn't yet lost to Danny Williams and Sapp had only lost to Nogueira in MMA and Cro Cop in kickboxing.

I feel like Mike would've won by KO in about the 2nd round. Sapp would be clumsily attacking him, and getting beaten to the punch every time.

In 2002, I think Tyson would kill Sapp. In 2004-5, I dunno if I like Tyson's odds, as he was getting stopped by Danny Williams and Kevin McBride. Tyson was probably at less than 1% power in 2004.

Mike wins by ko in no more than 2 rounds. fading Mike Tyson of 2002 was still better than Bob Sapp who's main selling point was having a body builder look while mostly beating smaller opponents with his SLOPPY punches

Its a real pity that this fight didn't happen back then. Sapp was a big powerful beast.
