Just seen it’s been 5 years today since Fury had the first Wilder fight, that’s flown!

It has flown. Especially considering the only other boxer's he's faced were Tom Schwartz, Otto Wallin, Whyte and Chisora. Oh, and a glorified kickboxer.

Is Fury actually training like a madman now or just farting about in Morecambe? With Christmas on the horizon my money is on the latter! Usyk’s probably running up some snowy mountain as I type this, Rocky 4 style!

I just think Fury already knows his game plan for the fight and is laser focused.

I really don't think this is going to happen , has much has Fury loves the money and its his main concern , i think he has enough to keep him happy and calling himself the unbeaten , gypsy king bla bla bla , is more important to hime and his dad , than another 50 million or so , he does lead a lavish lifestyle but has enough now to sustain it , he don't need or want a loss , and that will probably happen

it will happen, even if we assume fury has no drive these days, why not collect another huge pay day before retiring and get it over with.. it's only another couple months. there would be a lot of fallout from a lot of people (im not just talking fans) on him if he pulled out too

Because Fury knows that if the hungers not there, then he's not going to be able to get fit enough to beat Usyk.

Fury can come up with some bollocks and avoid it

I agree. It'll happen. Fury will lose most of the rounds and catch a beating in the second half of the fight. Then he'll call for the rematch.

Don't think he'd really care ,about fallout , he honestly don't give a flying &*^%& about what people think , proved that before , Boars nuts bollocks , purse to charity , fighting Chisora , fighting a non boxer and the list goes on , But he is all about EGO

It`ll happen because the Saudi`s and WBC won`t allow Fury to delay any longer; he fights in February or loses that £50 million payday ... bit of a no-brainer even for a no-brainer like Fury.

Fury will get himself disqualified if he is at risk of being stopped or humiliated by Usyk. He can then spin the disqualification no matter how valid as being controversial to either sell the rematch, or to his remaining couple of gullible simple fans.

I think Fury does care what people think which is why he has banned Talksport from his fights and press conference's.

But the perceived flak he has recieved from Talksport is self inflicted. He chose to box Chisora for a third time and chose to box Ngannou. They weren't mandatories, and I think fans felt that was poor form from a champion, hence the reported low viewing figures for the Ngannou fight.

Fury's behaviour of late has felt a bit like Naz's at the end of his career. Let's hope the Ngannou shock will have humbled him a little bit. The Fury in the Netflix series is very likeable but the version at the Uysk press conference much less so. I'd rather see more of the former than the latter.

I’ve said all along until they weigh in, this is not happening. You can’t trust people like Fury and his sort.. lying is part of their DNA.

Was it Adam Booth saying that signing the contracts are often delayed as they can't start testing until it is definitive

Yep. It can be announced, venue booked, media done and agreement in place. But the signatures don't go on until much later, sometimes very close to fight night.
