12 (or 15 rounds) Heavyweight Bout
The Atomic Bull who KO Lennox Lewis in their first fight and decisioning the 45 year old Larry Holmes would batter Smokin Bert behind his jabs and body punches before he puts Bert out with a big right hand in rounds 4 to 6. What do you guys think and who do you got?
Oliver McCall vs. Bert Cooper
Re: Oliver McCall vs. Bert Cooper
This fight would be great from an action perspective, possibly a classic. But the Atomic Bull wins it big, most likely by decision.
Oliver's cannon-like left-jab, overwhelming upper-body strength, punching power, and high ring IQ make all the difference between these two. But Cooper's iron jaw and tenacity enable him to be competitive in almost every round.
Bert was not an easy guy to stop.

Re: Oliver McCall vs. Bert Cooper
I think McCall most likely wind as he had a better chin than bert. Noth had substance abuse problems and the outcome would depend at what stage of their careers that they would be fighting one another.
When Greg Page and Steward were working with McCall he was at his best. As for Bert hehadcleaned up his act after the mercer fight and put together 4 wins in a row, one over Joe hipp and then had holyfield on the brink. The timing would make a big impact on the outcome.
