Would have loved to have seen that bout!. I do remember there being talk about Conteh fighting Ali for the heavyweight title at one point, Conteh seemed quite keen on the fight which certainly would have been a huge money maker in England had it come off...

Nah Conteth was too small for Heavyweight hence why he moved down.

I'm not saying that he would have beaten Ali, but there was definately talk of a fight, I have the articles in which Conteh talks about fighting Ali...

Well Spinks did move to Cruiserweight, so Conteh might of beaten the declining Ali.
