Idalberto Umara vs Fradimil Macayo
Lightweight card this Friday on DAZN from the US, Umara is Cuban, 11-1 with 8 KOs, lost a 4 round split on his debut , Macayo is Venezuelan, 16-1 with 13 early, got knocked out in his 2nd fight, never heard of either tbh but these small hall DAZN shows throw up some good scraps

Re: Idalberto Umara vs Fradimil Macayo
Macayo beats Umara by UD scoring a 7th round knockdown along the way, 97-92, 96-93, 95-94, I had it 97-92 Macayo, Umara is orthodox but he's typically Cuban, skilled but questionable appetite and poor workrate, his defence was solid enough but Macayo just kept pressuring and punching, missed a lot but still landed plenty to win most rounds, an accumulation of punches had Umara down in the 7th not badly hurt but put Macayo's stamp on the fight,, Umara didn't want to lead off or counter, Macayo kept working away and clearly the hungrier fighter

You don't happen to know how the Kevin Hayler Brown fight went?handsofstone wrote: ↑09 Dec 2023, 09:40 Macayo beats Umara by UD scoring a 7th round knockdown along the way, 97-92, 96-93, 95-94, I had it 97-92 Macayo, Umara is orthodox but he's typically Cuban, skilled but questionable appetite and poor workrate, his defence was solid enough but Macayo just kept pressuring and punching, missed a lot but still landed plenty to win most rounds, an accumulation of punches had Umara down in the 7th not badly hurt but put Macayo's stamp on the fight,, Umara didn't want to lead off or counter, Macayo kept working away and clearly the hungrier fighter

kev easily beat his man, worked him down to the body
either kev or uri cedeno looked to be the best on the card that was shown. the abbas barrou fight didnt get covered at least from what i saw
