Sean Hart dead

Post by Riddick Bowie »

Crafty 90s journeyman Sean Hart, perhaps best known for extending a young David Tua, probably needs a date of death adding to his record.

Obituary here:
https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/mc ... d=14122066

If you listen to his post fight interview here, at 37.50 he states he's going to Temple Law School, corroborated in obit above:

What a shame.

Although on looking at the records of his final two opponents, Corrie Sanders and Carl Williams, I note they also lack dates of death, and DOBs.

Does Boxrec no longer include such information?

Dates of birth and death are still being registered, but are no longer listed on the public profile. Showing when, for instance, Joe Louis was born and when he died would be an obvious breach of European privacy law. It's called progress. Enjoy it.

P.S. The dates of deaths can still be found in the fighter's Wiki, also Sean Hart's. European law makes an exception for that.

Why can it be shown on Wiki but not on the actual record?

Of course it should be on the record as well.
