bivol jai

i think if kabayel is really up for this, he can give big mak some surprises though. maybe not beat him, but he's a much neater boxerr and could win rounds and tag him up for a while.

That sums it up nicely for me too, although it won't be a shock if at least one of those doesn't go to plan.

The Hrgovic camp needs to seriously put some effort into a PR job for Filip. A few flash KOs would help too.

That's if they want some of that really big money.

Being good, or even the best, is not enough these days when ex YouTubers are making more than most champions these days.

Besides, the way he fights is hardly liable to get him any big fights in future.

None of the top 5/6 are remotely interested in fighting him at the moment and there doesn't seem to be too much fan demand either.

Time for Filip to step up and put on a real show.

This is a showcase opportunity here and a great chance to make the fans crave some more.

Would love AJ to roll back the years and Ko2 Wallin, but dull UD.
Would love Parker to go after Deontay and Ko2.
Would love DDD to really put it on Big Baby and KO2.
Would love Arthur to catch Bivol cold and Ko1.

but really it looks like all the favourites by the favourite MOV sadly.

Still, great, great show - can't wait. :box:

im still on the fence, but it's easy enough to see the case for miller. big , relentless guy with a good chin taking on someone known to be vulnerable, especially later in fights. dubois best win is arguably in getting bounced off the canvas by kevv lerena, a career cruiserweight who isnt even a puncher there. he doesnt have a showing that convinces me he's simply on another level and wont get ground down eventually. all his wins are by slugging out C level guys too, not like he's some established silky boxer who we can count on to counter and avoid shots.

on the other hand, miller is very slow and easy to hit. despite his good chin, that could all add up. not sure he can make adjustments either if he's not getting to dubois and needs to try something else. the jab was an important weapon for joyce and usyk, but miller barely uses it.

as far as ped use goes, we can only speculate, but being caught hasnt prevented miller from loading up in the past

could go a lot of ways

I change my mind everytime I think about it. I think Dubois has to win by KO to win as he won't be able to match Miller's output. Miller can win the rounds or make Dubois give up late due to volume. It's tough to call as both are vulnerable and not top level boxers.

I'm taking DDD, if there isn't testing, then maybe Miller.
Miller isn't the same off the juice. I just think Doobie is going to pound Miller. Face first guys always come unstuck and I think this is the time for Miller.

dubs is a face first, walk em down slugger himself. he could barely block a joe joyce jab and struggled when opponents didnt fall aparrt from his power. he's never shown much advanced in the way of defense, pin point counters, etc. so if he cant hurt miller, and i dont know that miller's ever been hurt or down in boxing, im not sure i trust him to just lay back casually outbox jm over the course.

i think very important for dubs to get miller's respect from the off and to make an impact early. make j hesitant to up his work rate as he usually does starting around the third. get damage accumulating right away so that miller has less in the tank to exploit any potential dub fade with

Just the HWs

Joshua TKO 3 Wallin - stoppage from a bad cut
Wilder KO 10 Parker - after losing the first 9 rounds
Miller NC Dubois - initial result overturned due to PED tests
Kabayel SD Makhmudov - controversial result, rematch set for 2026 when Kabayal is next available
Hrgovic KO 2 De Mori - De Mori goes back to fighting guys with an 0 in the W column
Sanchez UD Fa - Sanchez continues his "No Challenges" tour

Just looked at the odds. You get:
Makhmudov 1/10
Sanchez 1/16
Hrgovic 1/50
Bivol 1/25
Dubois 1/4
Opetaia 1/25
Wilder 1/7
Joshua 1/4

An 8 fold accumulator gets you odds of 13/10

Where's the upset(s)? Kabayel (11/2) and Miller (3/1) might be slightly undervalued. Possibly Parker too (9/2). Not saying they'll win but the odds are a slightly wide in my opinion.
